Description

The Raypak Digital Propane Heater is engineered to last. Looking at the heater, you can see that it's designed differently than most heaters on the market. The Raypak Digital Propane Heater's unique "pagoda design" enables the heater to stay effective during high wind speeds and downdrafts. The cabinet of the heater is constructed from a galvanized metal, then powder coated with a 7 stage process to outlast the elements and corrosion. Inside the unit, the heater boasts polymer resin headers and a copper fin tube heat exchanger that heats the water passing through quickly and efficiently. The Raypak Digital Propane Heater not only lasts long, but is extremely easy to use and operate. The heater has a built-in Microprocessor Controlled Thermostat to set your pool or spa at the perfect temperature with the push of a button. It's also remote compatible and can connect to any two or three wire remote for added convenience. The heater also contains built-in diagnostic controls to alert users or pool professionals of any issues and the location of these issues. In addition, the heater contains built-in electronic ignition. This enables the unit to turn the pilot light off and on when needed, conserving gas usage and saving users money. This heater is ideal for use in elevations from sea level to 2,000 feet.

Great heater and easy to install. Now I have only used it 2 days. It brought the temp from 80 to 99 in about 15 hours on a 15,000 gallon 32x16 pool. We had issues lighting it. Make sure you give it plenty of chances to get the air out of the propane line. We run off a brand new 500 gallon tank. I actually contacted tech support because it wouldn’t light. Then I went and tried it a few more times. Then it lit. We never could smell propane and even when burning it’s very quiet and minimal exhaust smell. A wonderful heater and I hope it lasts a long time. Just some key words to help people searching. The media could not be loaded. Used very little. Only went through one tank of propane before it started dumping water. Seller said to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer does deal with the homeowner. Was advised by the manufacturer to contact a dealer. Nearest dealer is 65 miles away, and does not service my area. I offered to pay for the labor, if the seller would warranty the parts. The seller completely refused to help me in any way. DO NOT BUY THIS! Waste of money! Installation was easy. The heater is surprisingly quiet. Heats our spa from 60 dg to 100 dg in about 3 hours. Our spa is 8’ x16.

This unit is badass! Installation was a breeze.. I do recommend that you have your gas company hook up the gas so they put the right regulator on the gas line .. we be swimmin!!!

Junk, just received mine had it professionally installed and the increase temperature button on the console does not work. So I have a $2600 block sitting next to my pool that does nothing..Very disappointed in Rheem and In the swim supplies.

I purchased this heater because we had really good results with our old one of the same brand for over 10 years. When I ordered it, I thought all the necessary parts were included. When it arrived the required draft hood stack was not included. When I asked about it, I was told it had to be ordered separately. The only problem is the draft hood is not available to order through Amazon and In The Swim also did not carry the required part! ... show more
