I recently acquired a Kindle and wanted to find an appropriate protective case to keep it safe while on the move. During my search, I found a case that immediately caught my eye, and I decided to try it. And I'm delighted with it! The case's unique design makes it look like a dainty leather journal when it is closed. The leather's color and texture are impeccable, and the overall look is very stylish and elegant. The stand that comes with the case is also exceptionally robust. It has a magnet that holds it steady when not in use, which is particularly helpful when I need to put my Kindle down for a moment and don't want it to slide off the table. Moreover, the strap with the case is exceedingly cozy and comfortable to hold. It's also adjustable, a nice touch, and perfectly fits my left hand. However, my only critique of the case is that I wish another strap were on the opposite side. The strap works flawlessly for my left hand, but I generally hold my Kindle in my right hand, so I've had to adapt. Overall, the case feels snug in my hand, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. It protects my Kindle from scratches and damage and adds a touch of elegance to it.

Fits the scribe well in it's slot and seems sturdy enough. The magnetic wake/sleep works as intended. The elastic strap keeps it closed, and the fold out stands keep it up for reading. My only complaint and the -1 star is for an oversight with the hole punched in the wrong spot. You won't be trying to turn it on with the cover closed so it's no real issue with the functionality. Overall it looks good, and it is a great purchase for the price. Amazon went backwards on their cover or I would have purchased another like the one for my DX, but they only have top upen covers for the scribe. Update: funny story, the second hole is for an LED for when it is plugged in.

I got this for my new Scribe Kindle. It is great for the different heights you can set it at for hands-free viewing. The pen doesn’t easily slide out of its holder so no worries in losing it. Opening on side so I can charge my Kindle without opening the cover. Looks high-end

After much deliberation, I selected this cover for my Kindle Scribe over other styles whose designs or pen holders I preferred because this one can be propped up vertically or horizontally, appeared well-made, and has both functionality and style. I can say it does live up to all of those expectations! Everything fits and works as advertised. I feel MUCH safer now using my Scribe! I'm also pleased to say that the pen holder - while not as infallible as other cases I considered that had space for it within the hardshell - does seem snug and secure. I also disagree with other reviewers who feel that this is too heavy or bulky: it's just right for my needs. The only reason I'm subtracting a star is that, while the case still looks really nice, as with so many items on Amazon, it is not exactly true to the colours shown. The print quality is good but could be better and the "veins" in the marbling that appear to be a metallic, coppery rose gold in the photos are very, very pink in person and not at all metallic or shiny. Please note that it otherwise appears VERY similar to the photos, just fully pink with no hint of copper/orange tint. It makes an otherwise very lovely professional case an ever-so-slightly juvenile, "girly" look that I don't personally love. However, I like it well enough to keep it... I just might paint over the pink at some point!

Clever cover that will keep the kindle well in place. I think there are magnets on back which attracts the kindle (not sure) but I will say; the Kindle Scribe SNAPS into place!!! The device will not fall out and a thick elastic band keeps the cover closed! Pen holder is elastic and snug! Will secure the pencil without worries. I ordered another in a solid color for work. Awesome price and quality!!

The media could not be loaded. The pictures on this listing are very accurate to what you actually receive. The teal is kind of a plastic-y material (I’m not a textile connoisseur so just go with it…) that wipes off easily and stays clean but it looks almost linen-like. I love the brown sueded cotton, it adds the perfect touch. It’s a good looking case! The Scribe pops right in easily but stays secure in the case. I carry this with me and use it everyday. It’s durable and will last quite a while. I don’t particularly like or use the stands. It’s kind of bottom-heavy with the scribe in it and sits awkwardly on the vertical stand. I never use my Scribe horizontally so the small stand is of no use to me.
