Very small and unstable, not what I expected at all. The ramp is nothing like it looks on the picture. Not sturdy at all. It's all wood, and my rabbit has torn it up. Even the bar to hold the ramp down is unstable. Putting it together was not easy. And the pieces did not match up. You have to maneuver it to make it line up properly and the pieces did not match up. The wood is very cheap and you have to be careful not to strip it while making your own holes for the screws. Even the bottom tray needs a little finagling to remove for cleaning. I have to buy a new and bigger cage to accommodate my rabbits needs. I would not recommend this product at all. It's really cheap for the price you pay for it. ... show more

Assembly was ok. Much smaller than you think. Some holes weren’t pre drilled which was confusing. Wire is poorly stapled on. Very thin tin on tray that is super glued in. Purchased for one Guinea pig & by day 2 realized I had wasted my money when I tried to slide tray out to clean & alllllll the litter got pushed to back & fell out because there isn’t enough clearance with litter to function. By day 3 the tray (which was glued to a stapled frame) had completely fallen apart. I had to rebuilt it with nails just to make it work long enough to buy a better cage. This is not for pets that can climb. Significant gap! I purchased this hutch to house 2 rats. I liked that it had good ventilations. I read reviews that it was difficult to assemble. As a woman with basic tool knowledge was able to assemble this cage with my children’s help holding some pieces together. Upon completion we noticed quite a big gap. One that if not filled our rats (other animals too) can escape from if they can climb the mesh sides. We are struggling to keep this area secure. Once we put our rats in it, they tested every corner. If this wasn’t assembled and had pets in it, I’d have sent it back! Do not recommend! ... show more

It's pretty easy to assemble, and I love that the parts are numbered to make them easier to find. It's sturdy enough for quails. I don't think they'll do any real damage to it. I highly recommend setting this up outdoors, because it smells strong, and for that very reason I don't recommend putting any animal in there right after set up. I don't want to be anywhere near this thing while I wait for the smell to dissipate, or else It's gonna trigger a horrible headache for me. So its airing out on my porch for a few days. It looks super cute though, and it looks roomy enough for maybe 4 quail. I think it's worth the price I paid for it, its going to last several years since I plan to keep it protected from the weather, and cute little quails aren't going to chew on it like a bunny or hamster will. It's a great starter til you decide to upgrade to something bigger and better. I can't say anything about how easy it cleans because I don't plan on housing anything in here anytime soon. Again because of the strong woody smell to it. *One star removed because as pictured there's a gap i can stick my hand through. And if I can stick my hand through a raccoon or possum could as well. Good thing I planned on keeping it indoors anyway. And the little blue pieces that cover the bottom portion of the wire mesh, presumably to reduce the amount of bedding that gets kicked out, wasn't included with my kit. ... show more
