- After the AA battery is installed, the trash can is turned off. PRESS AND HOLD THE 1.5S POWER BUTTON TO TURN ON THE TRASH CAN. If the indicator light flashes red, the battery is low; please replace the batteries.
- To ensure the trash can works properly, keep a space of 23.6"/60cm above it clear of any items. Its not suitable for under desks or sinks.

These trashcans are pretty good. They were very easy to put together and can also hold a plastic bag to collect the trash instead of putting trash directly into the can. They are made of pretty good plastic and I think that they will hold together well. They do require AAA batteries which are not included. I have a dog who loves to get into trash, but these are dog proof, even for an 85 pound puppy. These are about the size of a bathroom trashcan and has plenty of capacity for a bathroom. They are very lightweight, but sturdy enough to stay in place. The lid functions well...perhaps too well. The sensor is very sensitive and can open at times when you are not expecting it. But it doesn't stay open too long, thus my cats can't get too curious before it closes them out of the can. The operation is very quiet and hardly even noticable. Because of this can, I have been able to have a trashcan in both bathrooms again as it keeps all the critters in the house from getting into the trash and dragging it across the house. I really like these and they work great! I highly recommend especially for owners of curious pets.

We got a puppy and quickly learned that the bathroom trash cans we had would not work. He was constantly getting into the trash and dragging it throughout the house. We looked at the swing lids, but figured he would push his snout in and do the same thing. These were a great solution. They consistently open with the wave of a hand and automatically close shortly after. I appreciate that it came in a two pack so we could cover both restrooms. The size is perfect and the inner plastic piece makes it easy to Swap out the bags, while keeping them secure. It has saved us the embarrassment and the cleaning up of bathroom trash being pulled out by the dog. I would definitely recommend these trash cans. Great value for the price, works as stated and they look simple and perfect in our restrooms.

Trash cans are a good size for the bathroom and felt pretty sturdy even though they are fairly lightweight. Wanted something with a lid to contain my daughters feminine products and keep the dog (and toddlers) out. One of the trash cans the motion sensor is very sensitive but the lid opens and closes great. The other can the sensor goes in an out so not sure if got a bad one. Still works as a trash can though we just lift the lid. Standard small can bag fits.

OMG these things are awesome!! Soo easy to assemble, just need 2 AA batteries and you’re good to go! Small and sleek look, white plastic material will be easy to wipe down. Not to mention motion sensors that make throwing something away THAT much easier. lids open seamlessly, definitely recommend.

Bought these two automatic opening trash cans for the bathroom - they are perfect for the space. Previously I had larger cans and they took up too much space and were always "open" at the top. These smaller sized cans allow me to put them in tight corners in bathroom and with the auto opening top - I never need to touch them until time to empty. Also, I really appreciate the top opens when your hand is 12-18 inches away - so no need to bend down and get right on top of the can to use. Very sturdy, white color goes with everything, and I just clean with a lysol wipe every once in a while. Great product - highly recommend.

I purchased these for my new home because I needed covered cans that would not require me to touch them. I use an art form where I am constantly tossing tiny bits of leftover biodegradable material, and these are perfect for this. They open immediately upon sensing body heat, and the batteries last forever. I moved in September and only now have had to recently replace the batteries. They are clean-looking, and have a ring on the inside to hold a bag in place. I keep the other can in my bathroom. I recommend these to my family and friends because it’s so nice to get exactly what I pay for. These did not disappoint.

I want to start off by saying when I first got them, I thought they were incredibly small and the rooms I was going to use them for always had a lot of trash. I think I am looking for a 4 or 5 gallon trash can. But before I was going to send them back, I had a light bulb go on and remembered that I was going to get a couple of tiny trash cans for the bathrooms. They were the perfect size for them or maybe an in home office that doesn’t get much trash. I thought it was kind that they sent several trash can bags for us to immediately use them if I am correct. They are easy to set up and use immediately. No tools needed. Just 2 parts. and they are very user friendly. But I am so happy I bought the wrong size for the trash cans I wanted. Now I have the perfect trash cans for my bathrooms. I wanted these automatic trash cans because we have 2 dogs and one of them just loves to look through the trash cans even though he eats twice a day and gets treats throughout the day too. But he can’t stay out of the trash. But these automatic trash cans keep them out. You will be very pleased with them. I surely am. My first picture is just to show you what it looks like on the floor. The second picture shows only 3 parts. That is all that comes with it and maybe a few garbage bags. And I. The third picture, I am not sure if you could see it. You know how a lot of people puts the bag in the garbage container and let the bag hang over the rim. These are made to not show them. First, you open the bag and let the whole bag to open fully. Then you place the bag in the container and at this point, I let the bag hang over the garbage can with the lid still off. Then you take that dark gray bracket and it will appear like it can be fine either way. But you want to put the side of the bracket with circles on it facing down. If you it the side with the circles on it facing up you will not be able to use the lid. Then, this part will seem odd but trust me, this is the best way of doing it you want to pull the bag down while it is under the bracket. Keep on pulling until you got the top of the bag come near the top part of the bracket. You may be concerned that trash will go outside of the bag. But the bottom part of the lid and the top of the bracket meet each other there. So trash will not go outside of the bag. Also, you will need to have on hand or purchase through Amazon some lithium ion Double AA batteries. All you need is 2. You can get a less expensive battery but I didn’t want to be in a regular habit of having to put in other AA batteries. This was one purchase I am glad that I made even if it was not the size trashcan I needed. I am glad that I got it.
