Max charging current is 5A per channel in high current mode, NOT 10A as advertised. Voltage sense is not very accurate, tends to wander between 0.2 and 0.3 Volts high compared to calibrated DVM, so charge stages will be inaccurate. There is no setting for battery type selection. Seems to use the same settings for LiFePO4 as for lead-acid. Fan is annoyingly loud.

We own a ton of vehicles & cant drive them all. Our Dually is one we use for hauling and we don’t drive it daily so sometimes we need to charge the batteries. Since it has 2 batteries it’s a lot easier to use just one charge that’ll charge them both at the same time. It’s also nice that we can charge our solar batteries on this too. It’s so small that we can take this with us when hauling.

I have a big, old style supposedly automatic car charger at home but it's not very automatic and tends to not cut off like it should. I bought this as a replacement. It's small, lightweight, and very easy to use. It can charge two batteries at once which I will probably never use but someone else might find it useful. The charger is automatic and has a nice digital display to tell you what's going on and how the battery is doing. It basically comes with slow-medium-fast charge options as well as a repair charge option that pulses the battery to help remove deposits and hopefully bring some life back to older batteries. This really is a set it and forget it charger. Attach it to your battery, pick a charging mode, and come back sometime in the future to a charged battery. No babysitting needed.

First thing I should mention is that the cooling fan is loud and a constant high speed when charging. For me, I'm used to it as my booster pack is like his 24/7. I was just surprised and that's the first thing you'll probably notice if you get this. It's not a bitminer loud but just louder than would've expected. I charged up a Lithium battery with this and when I came back the next morning, the fan was off and the LCD showed "FUL"... So, this charger is just that, a charger. As far as it shows, it does not monitor and maintain... Which I didn't realize. I read "smart" on the description and automatically thought maintainer. I guess this is smarter than some. Or some aren't as smart as this. Anyhow, after getting over my lapse, I realized that this is fine. It charged it fast enough and can handle an even larger battery. Two even. The settings are pretty straightforward and easy to use. Set it can walk away. It automatically shuts off. Warning: your Lithium batteries must have a BMS circuit. This smart charger does not provide for it....
