Initially the card wasn’t being recognized but after making sure it was firmly inserted, it now works.

    • Only worked for a month.
I got this card back when they were cheaper than the official ones. My Series S recognized it fine at first so I moved a ton of games to it from my old Xbox. But now I've noticed that many of my games are saying they're not installed. Sometimes Xbox has glitches like this so I wasn't too surprised. After a few nights of trying to redownload them but being unable to make any progress I happened to look at storage devices rather than my queue and found that my card was no longer being recognized, but for some reason my Xbox wasn't telling me I was out of room. I've tried all the solutions I can find, which aren't many, and spent the better part of an hour unplugging the card, restarting the console, and plugging the card back in but still not showing up under storage devices. It's possible that this is due to a console update perhaps but regardless the card only worked for a month. Do not purchase it unless you want to only use it for about that long or maybe not even at all at this point. The official expansion card has also received some price drops luckily. ... show more

Does not work. Error displayed on screen: "Reinsert your storage expansion card. The card needs an update, but we weren't able to apply it. 0x80820012" Xbox will read contents, but not launch any apps or games.
