    • Only worked for a month.
I got this card back when they were cheaper than the official ones. My Series S recognized it fine at first so I moved a ton of games to it from my old Xbox. But now I've noticed that many of my games are saying they're not installed. Sometimes Xbox has glitches like this so I wasn't too surprised. After a few nights of trying to redownload them but being unable to make any progress I happened to look at storage devices rather than my queue and found that my card was no longer being recognized, but for some reason my Xbox wasn't telling me I was out of room. I've tried all the solutions I can find, which aren't many, and spent the better part of an hour unplugging the card, restarting the console, and plugging the card back in but still not showing up under storage devices. It's possible that this is due to a console update perhaps but regardless the card only worked for a month. Do not purchase it unless you want to only use it for about that long or maybe not even at all at this point. The official expansion card has also received some price drops luckily. ... show more

I wanted to write this review as I was the one who took the bullet for y’all as I always wanted to get the expansion storage but didn’t wanna pay the price of the sea gate one so I got this. It came in a small box as seen on the first picture. The instructions were simple and easy to read. I turned in the Xbox and plugged it in and it just popped up as an expansion card storage. Didn’t need to formate it nor did I need to turn off the Xbox as it just detected it and it worked perfectly! (Sorry I didn’t add a pic of the Xbox showing it. As I left the house.     • Worked for a while, but new update won't read games.
It's been working great for a while since I bought. Does not work since a recent update. Error displayed on screen: "Reinsert your storage expansion card. The card needs an update, but we weren't able to apply it. 0x80820012" Xbox will read contents, but not launch any apps or games. Don't know I can do, since I don't see any customer support for this problems. ... show more

Do not buy. Not an officially recognized xbox product. It may work at first but it is incompatible with xbox updates so will likely throw an error message after a console update - "card needs update but couldn't be applied 0x80820012".

Only 880gigs not 1tb, also about broken my xbox after plugging in. I was unable to select anything and basically froze my console. Hoping theres no long last effects
