The grill itself seems to be fine for the price and size. The metal grate spacing could be tightened up about a quarter inch or so to stop things like hot dogs from falling through but it's no huge deal. Wasn't especially difficult to assemble, but it helps to get all the pieces spread out and like-items put together. I didn't find the directions especially useful but having a specific number of different sized bolts, etc. was helpful. Grill was shorter than I actually expected, but still did the job and had enough cooking space to prepare a good number of burgers at once. Lid and other air vents are tight and can smother the flame if the fire gets too hot, flares up, etc. so all in all a pretty good grill for the price! ... show more

Flimsy grates that are not really supported by anything but shape. I put 2 steaks on it and when I tried to turn them over the grilling grate fell or tipped into the charcoal. Now that I've used it I can't return it .Waste of money!!! Il have to run some screws or something under it to prevent it from happening. SAVE YOUR MONEY ... show more

these are excellent grills, but because the metal is very thin, I recommend you do not overload with charcoal. I use around 5-6 pounds of briquettes max. cleanup is a breeze, which is ideal for portability. assembly is kinda tricky; although I had every part I needed to fully assemble, I didn’t have the exact parts listed. I’m very pleased with the product, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller size portable grill. ... show more

I wish it had a little better temp control, I hate it when I burn a perfect cat. It's a little small for rear quarters of dog aswell.

I didn't pay much for it so my expectations were low and this bbq lived up to them. After assembly it feels loose and unstable. It is also very short.
