This one has the auto stop feature so you don’t end up with a forced challenge to remove the egg rack in the last few days before hatching. These have modest heat capability so adding a secondary enclosure or using the styrofoam packing to provide additional insulation is a good idea if you are running this in an outbuilding. Don’t expect too much durability from these but for a hobby operation this is a good way to go. 5 Stars and at the current price quite economical. How I review: Reviews start with 5 stars and I subtract points. - 0 for value but I try to provide guidance -0.5 to -3 for product not matching description e.g. stainless steel is actually plated steel -0.5 to -3 for product missing badly on execution I select products carefully so low (1-3 scores) are rare but detailed comments and critiques almost always are in the review. Most of my reviews come out 4-5 range. If possible I dismantle or destroy items to examine inner workings.

Efficient and effective incubator. So far this is the best one I have used. Tray fits all different size of eggs. Eggs easily rotate in the tray. The led displays heat, humidity and says of incubation. LED light is bright and great for candling. If humidity is low an alarm will go off. Design is well thought out and engineered. 5 stars

18 Egg Incubators for Hatching Eggs, Egg Incubator with Precise Humidity & Temperature Control. This is a great little incubator for beginners or for small batches of eggs. It was easy to set up right out of the box, and its compact size means it can sit on a counter without taking up much space. It holds both temperature and humidity very well, and the built-in water holder makes it easy to maintain the right humidity levels without constant monitoring. Tip: Keep the styrofoam packaging on during incubation, it really helps stabilize the internal temperature. Update: I recently used this to finish hatching eggs that my hen had abandoned late in the incubation process. This incubator came through. One feature I really love that my other incubators don’t have: it gives an audible alert if the temperature drops too low or if the humidity falls out of range. Thanks to that, I was able to hatch out 5 healthy chicks! That safety feature alone is worth it. Overall, it functions exactly as intended and is a great value for the money. Highly recommend!

This has become my favorite incubator for the chicken, turkey and goose eggs we incubate. The temperature and humidity are accurate (I use a wireless temperature/humidity sensor in incubators to double-check.) Even though instructions say to use the styrofoam packing box for added insulation if the room temperature is below 64 degrees F, I generally keep the incubator in the box all the time for added temperature control. This incubator is programmable and actually MUST be programmed. It automatically stops turning eggs about 4 days prior to the programmed hatch day and defaults to the 21 day chicken incubation time. Turkey eggs for example take 28 days so I want them to stop turning at around 25 days. If I don't program this in, they will stop turning at 18 days. Fortunately, this is a super easy process and the manual is very good at showing how to do it. The blue part of the incubator where the controller, heater & fan are located removes easily from the dome, making cleaning between hatches super easy. I've had good luck with this incubator hatching chicks, goslings and poults, and am replacing my old styrofoam incubators with this.

I'm pleased with this incubator—it was quick to assemble and straightforward to set up. The temperature stays consistent, and the humidity alarm gives me peace of mind with its timely alerts. The candling light is impressively bright and works great for tracking progress inside the eggs. I've tested with quail, chicken, and duck eggs. and used multiple shapes and sizes. So far from all the other types of incubators I've seen the best hatch rate from these round, duel external watering incubators.

Easy to set up. I have been testing it out and it's done a good job staying at temp and right humidity. I do not put the bottles on because I hatch a variety of eggs, micro chickens, banty chicken, full size chickens, guineas, turkey, ducks, pheasants and soon geese. I prefer more control over humidity and the bottles sometimes complicate humidity. Make sure to read the directions and put the small gear in place or the Turner will NOT work. You have to unlock and remove the blue part on the lid to put the gear in place. This incubator comes with two tuner inserts, one for smaller eggs and one for bigger eggs. The clear dome top makes it easy to see the eggs. The temp and humidity and days are all visible on screen. This is a great starter incubator but is also a great for experienced hatchers. We've decided to do more hatching and have added more brooders this year and are very happy with this incubator.
