I needed an induction compatible pressure cooker to replace one I've loved for more than 10 years. My old one was quickly forgotten after using this one. The twist dial compression system is excellent and it worked perfectly and maybe quicker than my old pot. This is a solidly built piece of cookware. The biggest draw for me is the smooth lipped ridge on the pot. This allows me to use it with another lid for regular cooking too. My old pot had those interlocking tabs, so I could only truly use it with the pressure cooking lid. This one gives me another high quality pot to cook pasta or whatever. Buy with confidence.

This pressure cooker pot works like a charm. I like cooking Pinto beans a lot and it’s one of those foods that takes a very long time when you do it the traditional way. It took a total of 47 minutes to cook my pinto beans compared to six hours of slow cooking. Cooking pinto beans, the traditional way and can easily get messy. This pressure cooker keeps everything nice and clean and inside the pot. The only residue is a nice hot steam coming out of the vent.

It cook beef in 40 minutes. I left it for 55 minutes because I like the meat soft. The pressure cooker works really well.

Wish it had conventional pressure cooker's whistle system. Whistle doesn't require to keep track of time. This will have to keep an eye on time. Will it turn off by itself after certain pressure for certain time?

A reliable Pot for Cooking !!

After cook is done, just put it under the running tap water, the pressure will be released and the food is read to serve. It is much faster than the electrical pressure cooker. My wife likes it. Stainless steel is safer than aluminum, I think.
