the fan is a little more noisy but not overly so compared to the more expensive ceiling fans. I like the small footprint and it is a clean look. I do like the remote. I put the holder by the light switch on the wall and it works very nicely. There is a fair amount of force to the on high but again, it is a slightly higher decibel. It was somewhat difficult to get up but I was able to do it. not real heavy but it was somewhat awkward securing. I gave it a 4 because of the noise of he fan. Its not a deal breaker but you should be aware that there is a little bit of noise on the higher speeds. ... show more

    • Remote & fan broke within months

Remote completely stopped working within a few months. So now impossible to turn the fan on, defeating the purpose of whole reason I got it. There’s way to contact the company and troubleshooting tips were useless. If someone at the company could help me fix this I’d consider editing this review.

    • Worked great till it didn’t at all.

UPDATE: I was able to reach the manufacturer and they were super great and helped me fix the problem! The fan is working perfectly now! Just needed to reconnect the remote. Pressed “fan off” button and held till the fan made a noise to indicate reconnecting. Didn’t work at first, turned source off then back on again at the light switch, tried again, and it worked like a charm. The Fan was great for about 6 months then the remote stopped working altogether. I can’t get the fan function back online. I can’t for the life of me find my instruction manual, and there is no online support that I have found yet. So while it was great, it no longer works at all. I wouldn’t recommend for a sloped ceiling. The mounting bracket doesn’t have enough room for the controller on a sloped ceiling nor does the decorative cover line up. If not for that, it’s great.
