We bought this heater to use and found it to be very efficient and effective during the recent Arctic Winter Blast. It is fairly lightweight but put out a lot of heat, really fast too. The length of the filament allows for larger area distribution rather than a concentrated area which is what we were looking for. It has various heat control selections, comes with a remote control for convenience and best of all, a safety tip over auto-shutoff feature which is a must for all of our heaters. All in all, we are happy with this heater investment thus far.

The media could not be loaded. While I was a little concerned because the heater started smoking as soon as I turned it on, it has since become a good heater that I use for a couple hours everyday without problems. I got it to use in my garage when I'm working out there during winter. It's nice because it turns on just about instantly, and puts out a lot of heat directly in front of it where I'm working. It's not the kind of heater you'd want to fill the whole room with heat, but if you're working or sitting directly in front of it it works well. It's nice that you have the option to mount it to the wall, but for now I have it on the tripod so I can move it around. You can feel that it's not the highest quality (and it was missing some screws when it arrived) but overall I'm happy with it for my needs.

This worked great makes a tremendous amount of heat looks good and easy to use. We use this on the back deck and it does a good job keeping us warm on cool nights and keeps the hot tub room warm.
