The other reason I am giving this a four is because it is so thick. I put it on the end of my swifter or my steam cleaner, and it takes forever for the water to come out. It does when it gets wet some work great and soaks up a lot of grime, or doggy dirt paw marks and catches any hair. It also washes very well. Just because I gave it a 4 does not mean I will not buy it again. I just know it will take a while to use or to wet the pad some before I put it on to start it working. It cleans a lot of surface and sticks well.

I love my updated steam mop and the new pads are so much easier to apply. Literally, all you have to do is place the pad on the floor and put mop head on top. 😀

These reusable cleaning pads work great with the shark steam cleaner. I put them in the wash after use. I always have a clean pad to work with. The pads are slightly bigger than the originals but they are close to the same and the only thing is they don't have a little tag at the end where you can pull them off with your foot from the velcro bottom but most likely you have to remove them by hand. They pick up a lot of dirt. I find these pads more economical than buying a chemical spray mop in which we have to buy and replace the pads after every use.

Purchased another new Shark Steam mop as the old one gave out after many, many years of use. Decided to purchase the extra steamer pads as to change them out from tile to sealed hard wood floors. By doing this, even the largest messes or dirty floors are cleaned by a clean pad at all times and not using a dirty pad just to be spreading the dirt around further. No changing out dirty water buckets with dirty smelly mops. No down time to cleaning my floors with these washable pads. They wash up great, I wash them on hot and machine dry with no fabric softener or fabric sheets as that can make the pads too soft to pick up dirt. They have been washed many times to date,(atleast once a week) and are holding up great. Machine washing has not affected the Velcro on the pads that attach to the steamer. Very happy with the purchase and price for something I am not just throwing away each time. Having plenty of pads on hand incase some are already needed to be laundered in a big plus with dogs and children. Plus no chemicals needed with this steamer, No single use sheets, just laundry pads and air or drier dry. Job done.
