This has been the best pool pump ever. My hubby was constantly going outside after a rain to pump water off of the pool cover. This pump has been a miracle!!! It shuts off and on automatically. My hubby does no pumping at all whatsoever. Totally 100 % maintenance free!!!! We r going to order another one for back up. I've owned above ground pools for 31 years. Waste of time. Waste of materials to build it. Garbage. Fittings that connect to top of this unit are included. Only one that has a vertical hose barb threads into the unit. So hose wants to bend, creating a kink. The 90 degree elbow barbs included no not fit the pump. Trash. Worthless.

Updated review! The company contacted me and sent me a new pump. I’ll update next winter to update how long it lasts. When the old pump worked it was great at keeping the water off the cover!

Bought in August, stopped turning on reliably in March. Included hose is too limp and kinks- I had to put it inside a stiffer hose segment to keep it from bending and kinking. No adapter for a regular garden hose. Could have a broader base to be more stable. I'm looking for a replacement now but there are issues with almost every commercially available pool cover pump. You'd think they could get something this simple designed right.

I got a pool for my dogs, Due to them getting their feet dirty. I always have to clean the pool.. It is a foldable pool. the pump is great. the suction power is wonderful. in fact I put the hose in my garden when I empty the pool great value.
