Assembly is easy. Takes time to learn how to use and interpret readings, this would be true with any metal detector. Our house was built in 1880's so, for the first two days of use, I learned to use it in our yard and found the following items. Found a 1880's Chinese coin, two 45 caliber slugs and two 12 gauge shotgun shells that were made around 1910. Found a Clorox bottle cap with the price of 19 cents still on the cap, that stuff is $6.00 a gallon now. Plus found several modern coins and lots of nails. Very happy with my purchase! It would be nice if settings were held in memory so I didn't have to reconfigure settings every time it is turned on.

Metal detector works as expected. It gives off the different tones based on what kind of metal. I wish that the display was a little better showing the kind of metal being detected, but you'll get used to that based on the tones.

This product was great. I had to find a lost ring in my yard, I sat and contemplated using it for a while cuz I thought it might be a little more complicated than it was but after studying it for a while and then thinking about putting my current ring I had under it and comparing the sound I immediately found it in my yard. Great product highly recommended even for beginners

I love the large scanning head, sensitivity is great, discrimination is interesting, and battery power goes a long way. I have used it for quite a few hours and the battery is still going strong. I give this 5 stars for the value as opposed to other units that cost thousands I see advertised out there. I look forward to taking this on vacations as well since it comes appart easily and fits in a back pack that is also included!

I ordered a professional medal detector when I looked at the box it said for first time medal detector users. It did not say it was for adults or professional medal detector. I believe that I wouldn’t notice the difference. Or did the person that grabbed the box grabbed the wrong one. Please let me know what the problem was.
