No dents or scratches, arrived fully assembled. As you can see from my pics it's not quite pink but a peachy pink which is why I bought it because it's so different (wish they made it in red). The finish is matte but when I touched it it felt very soft and smooth. No issues putting on garbage bag, has soft close and handle in back to carry or drag. You can also manually open the lid and it still closes slowly. Be warned you can't push it up against a hard surface because the lid hinge sticks out - keep it an inch from wall or fridge etc so the lid opens all the way, which when you step on it only opens about 75 degrees. If opened manually it does stay open 90 degrees. Total width is closer to 15 inches when you consider back hinge and step. Thank you small business owner!

This garbage is good quality , it’s strong and definitely worth your money . It’s not very tall but it’s about 3 feet. You use have to press down to open and the lid closes by itself .
