I had to take off the 2nd one multiple times and placed my order when I was sure only 1 was on my order. But I ended up being charged for and shipped 2 identical pendants. Given as a wedding gift, to my cousin. I added a photo of our moms as teens, as they’ve both passed. It was a comfort first her to have our moms with us in spirit. This locket held the tribute perfectly. Great quality. Great value. Tight clasp, very sturdy. I’d say heirloom quality.

Necklace appears ok, Picture comes out very clear which was great but wished it was slightly lowered to see more of his whole head. But that’s ok. Once I inspected front and back of heart wings pendant locket, the front looked nice however back looked a bit smudged with tiny noticeable markings and the engraved letters felt rough to catch on anything as if they didn’t smooth it down. But words were still able to be read. However when using the blue guitar pick to open wings provided, there were no instructions on which side to open from “TOP or BOTTOM” of wings to make it easier to unclick. Opens best from TOP pressing blue pick downwards into wings. After slowly and gently opening wings I noticed how one wing was very wiggly as if it wants to break off. The other wing opens just fine back and forth sturdier. However the one wing opens back and forth and up and down diagonally very unstable as if it wants to break off. I wanted to gift this to my SIL who lost her husband (my brother) this year, to give her some comfort that he will always be with her. I’m not sure if I can gift this to her though as I’m afraid a wing will fall off. Or unsure how long the wing will last before snapping off completely. I feel for the price this necklace should of been much better quality. I will probably just keep the necklace for myself and make sure to not snap close the wings so I don’t have to use the blue pick to open it again in being afraid it will wear and tear the loose wing off. So I’ll have to just be extremely careful with it and not open locket much. I know I know…,, it defeats the purpose of being a locket you can admire your loved one to look at. But I took a risk ordering this product online knowing most customize products are not returnable or refundable. I will have to find a more reputable higher quality jewelry place close by that makes heart lockets or find a better quality one online. So beware of the heart wings locket being so fragile to snap off. Was a nice idea but best to go with a one door opening locket or without it being a locket at all. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If I were rating on appearance, this would be 5 stars. It's lovely, the pictures turned out good, the engraving is what I wanted. But the latch to keep it closed is a joke. After less than a month of wearing it, it won't stay closed at all. It's unusable at this point since the point of a locket is to open it when you want to, not to have it accidentally fall open consistently throughout the day. Very upset especially since I spent over $100 on this necklace. I definitely recommend purchasing elsewhere. See video to see how easily the necklace opens. ... show more
