I really wanted a fan in my kitchen to help circulate the air, and help cool it off when I am doing lots of cooking, and this one fit the bill. I actually bought 2 because I have an eat in kitchen and wanted the lighting to match. This is the perfect little light, and the fan works great. It was super simple to install, and I like the remote control features as well. My only complaint would be the weird yellow coloring of the center of the fan. It was very off putting and look like an egg yolk. I painted mine balcke to match the fan, and now it's just fine. It's a very quiet fan, and the light is dimmable. Edit: so I've had it for a few months now & as of last month i have had zero control over the rgb lights. They have always liked to randomly turn on, but not the entire circle of them & random colors. Usually i hit the rgb button twice (on & off) & it turns off. Not anymore! I have to flip the wall switch off, wait till the light goes out & then back on again to resume normal use. Also for 24hrs the other day i had zero control over the fan. Would turn at randome speeds, random directions & twitch as if it were being tapped by someone. It also continued doing this with the light switch flipped to off. I am now looking for something else to install at a later date. Lights all work, the different settings can be used independently from the others. Example: rgb can be used with main light off & so on. Its more of a novelty item than an ideal practical one. Fan works, but out put seems nerfd. Rgb lights are so dim, even in total darkness. Main lighting works great, so there's that. Install was a bit of a pain, but that wasnt because of the fan/light. Overall, its ok. Will see how it is over time. ... show more

It blows air very less at high speed. Air flows only straight down the fan. Noise grows high as you increase speed. Looks good. Light good enough for small room.
