This is ONLY a pool -- no pump & no ladder included, however, it is a very good pool for the price. It's taller and wider than the Bestway pool I owned last year and is very easy to assemble. I have very rocky and root-heavy soil where I live, so I have spread a mixture of sand & gym-mat pads beneath it to protect the liner from puncturing. I would definitely recommend placing some protection between the pool & the ground even if you have a luxuriously silky soft lawn since above ground pools are not typically known for their strength and durability. I purchased a $50 pump to filter it (different brand), and, honestly, that thing is stronger and more efficient than the pump sold with last year's pool, so I find it no great loss that it came without one. This pool is my second home for the rest of the hot season. When people ask how I'm spending my summer, I tell them I live there now, lol. 10/10 would recommend.

Best pool for the money out there! We upgraded from a 12’ Intex pool to this 15’ Bestway steel pro this year. I already had the pump (I used the Intex 530 - I run it for 8-10 hours a day and it gets the job done), hoses, ladder and other attachments. This is literally just the pool and the frame and nothing else, folks giving bad reviews for that are just not reading. This is a pool kit for those of us with all the equipment already! This pool is heavy in the box, but I got it to the backyard and unboxed it. My ground was already ready- level and I lay down two tarps for extra protection. I followed the directions in the box and the set-up was easy and went very quickly. It did not take me long and I did it completely alone and I’m a handy 5’2” 112 lb lady. I checked everything with a level before I started the water and then kept checking and re-checking as the pool filled. I did not use concrete pavers this year as I have before, as they ended up puncturing my other pool liner. I only used the included feet from the kit and they have worked wonderfully at keeping the pool stable and level and have been enough to keep the legs from sinking into the ground. This pool is a good size with the 15 footer. We have a small kid, so I wanted to include that this pool is a full 4 feet deep and the sides are of course that high making visibility INTO the pool more difficult when watching a little kid. You may need a deck etc because this height changes the angle of visibility when you step up from the 12’ size. *Folks you need your own ladder, pump, hoses and attachments for this pool. If you have all those, this is a great pool for the cost. *

I had heard that these temporary above ground pools were just as effective as standard above ground pools, so, why not buy one? First, I bought one from Walmart, but learned, that in our state (New York), unless the pool is 48 inches tall or higher, it is deemed dangerous and illegal, unless you fence it in, or keep the ladder out of the pool. Sooo. I returned that 42 inch pool, and bought this 15" x 48" tall pool, from amazon. Got it home, realized- oh - I have to level the ground, or it could collapse and drown my kids....$100 later, I had a pile of dirt delivered to my yard...Finally got it level, put up the pool (with help from random neighborhood teenagers), only to find that the rubber attachment sites looked like Sesame Street, one inch Gonzo nose, with no effective way to connect them to my "compatible," Intex pump.....so a bunch of "Flextape," and "vinyl cement" purchases later...I still have leaking outlet hoses....So, I call Intex, and Bestway..."oh, no, our products are not compatible with each other..." so I read more, online...apparenlty, there are no pumps that effectively clean pools such as this...so, there is no effective way to keep the water cleaned without changing it out, every couple of days - bad for the environment, for one thing, and, if you have well water, completely unfeasible...good luck, if you nevertheless persist in buying this...hope you have better luck than I did

As the dog days of summer approach here in Boaz, AL, there's nothing quite like having a refreshing pool right in your backyard. We recently set up a 15' x 48" round above-ground pool, and after several weeks of splashes and sunny days, I'm ready to share my thoughts. Ease of Setup: A Breeze! One of the standout features of this pool was how easy it was to put up. Even for someone who isn't particularly handy, the instructions were clear, and the components fit together seamlessly. We had the frame assembled and the liner filled in a surprisingly short amount of time. If you've been put off by the idea of a backyard pool due to complex installation, rest assured, this model makes it a relatively painless process. Maintenance & Cleaning: Surprisingly Simple Once it's up and running, cleaning this pool has also been remarkably easy. The included filter pump does a decent job of circulating the water, and combined with regular chemical balancing, we've managed to keep the water sparkling clear. The round shape means there are no tricky corners for debris to accumulate, making vacuuming and brushing a straightforward task. For its size, it's a manageable commitment in terms of upkeep. Kid-Approved Fun! The ultimate test for any family pool is, of course, the kids' reaction – and they absolutely love it! The 15-foot diameter provides ample space for splashing, floating, and even a bit of underwater exploration. The 48-inch depth is perfect for younger swimmers to stand comfortably while still being deep enough for older kids (and adults!) to cool off and enjoy. It's been the focal point of endless summer fun, and honestly, seeing their joy makes every bit of effort worthwhile. The One Quibble: The Skimmer Situation If there's one area where this otherwise fantastic pool could be improved, it's the filtration intake system. Instead of a dedicated surface skimmer, this pool relies on underwater suction intakes. While these do pull water into the filter, they aren't nearly as efficient at capturing floating debris – leaves, bugs, pollen, you name it – from the water's surface before it sinks. This means more frequent manual netting to keep the top layer pristine. My Wish: A proper, integrated surface skimmer would make a world of difference for overall cleanliness and reduce the manual effort significantly. It's a minor design choice that impacts the user experience more than one might think, especially in areas with lots of trees or airborne debris. Final Thoughts: Despite my wish for a better skimming system, the 15' x 48" round pool has been a fantastic addition to our backyard. Its ease of setup, straightforward cleaning, and immense popularity with the kids make it a winner. It offers a great balance of size and manageability for a family looking for refreshing summer fun without the commitment or expense of an in-ground pool. If you're willing to do a bit more manual skimming, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better value for endless hours of aquatic enjoyment. We've done the whole thing where we purchase 30 in deep pools some are partially inflatable others are inflatable all the way around but every year they would lean to one side too much cuz there's not much you can do to make the ground anymore even and eventually we would not be able to inflate the pool the following summer so we have purchased at least 5 or 6 pools like that every summer or our 4 grandchildren mainly, for when they sleep over like they have every other weekend since they were born. This year it's financially impossible for us to go anywhere is on vacation so I told my wife I've been with the last 27 years; "that's it, let me look around and do the shopping, research and reviewing the comments and everything and get as close as we can to a permanent above ground pool of some type that was a little bit deeper and I was a little leery at first cuz sometimes things look too good to be true but not in this case! I am honestly very very impressed with this pool.... The quality of the poles are not just regular white PVC piping which would be weaker anyways, and these pipes/frame are legitimately in my opinion very good quality and quite sturdy actually for an above ground pool that is not permanent. I took the best videos I could posted the pictures I had cuz I did not know I would only be able to submit one video otherwise I had made a video of what it looked like before we had set it up and knocking on the pipes to show how sturdy it actually is so hopefully my video and pictures are enough. IT ONLY COMES WITH THE POOL ITSELF. NOT THE FILTER. We already had a filter system that works beautifully and fits nicely with this pool. I highly recommend this pool especially for the money.... It is very well worth it and I am impressed like I said so far. It does take a lot longer to fill it up then we anticipated originally with just a garden hose I would say it takes at least 6 to 8 hours so plan on that cuz we thought we could set it up let it fill with water for a few hours and get in it the first day and that simply did not happen cuz it takes much longer for it to fill up but it's worth it 💯👍🏼

Just got the pool set up and so far I am very happy with it. Our previous Intex pool got a hole that grew larger every time I patched it so it was time for a new pool, but I didn't want to spend $300+. This pool is great for the price. I was even able to set it up on my own. Some reviews said it doesn't have anywhere to hook up a pump but ours did, and our Intex pump fit perfectly (maybe because it's a few years old). The size is great for our 2 young children and for lounging. It feels very sturdy and durable. I also appreciate that the drain comes with an attachment for a hose. Our previous Intex pool did not and draining it was a pain.

Pool arrived a day early. Package was small, so I didn't know what to expect. I have mainly ordered intex pools. This was my first time with Bestway. I opened the box and found everything organized neatly and easy to take out. The instructions were overall good. I opened the liner and checked the quality and thickness and that seemed fine to me. It's not much different from liners I've had in the past. I worked on leveling the ground. I began putting the pool together and found the poles although smaller, still stable and very easy to place into the vinyl holes. The pool went up fast and everything is stable. The guide recomends pavers, but my ground is pretty solid so I went that way. The pool settled a little, but is good. My wife swam in the pool and she can be tough kicking a lot, but the pool handled that fine. The pool does not move much, even with lots of swiming. It comes with 3 plugs for the inlets and outlets for the filters. Overall I am Very Very happy with my purchase. For the money, you cannot beat this. The only other thing to add is, make sure the plug on the bottom of the pool side is screwed on good.
