Features

  • Lithium Iron Battery: The lifespan of LiFePO4 (lithium) batteries is 8 to 10 times longer than that of regular lead-acid batteries (2000~5000 cycles vs 300-500 cycles). The usable capacity also doubles compared to that of a lead-acid battery while the weight is 30% less thanks to its significantly higher energy density.Without any memory effect, the lithium battery can hold a charge better while not in use and will not lose capacity due to the previous discharge state.
  • Built-In BMS & Convenience & Maintenance Free: The built-in BMS (Battery Management System) protects the battery from overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, and short circuits with excellent self-discharge rate. Built-in high temp cut-off prevents charging over 122 F (50 C). Plus, Li-Ion batteries can be safer than lead Acid batteries, which have no protection against ground faults. This product is your ideal choice for both outdoor and indoor applications.

  • Now we can RV without running out of power
Style: 36V 105AH
We bought this almost two years ago and have had plenty of time to evaluate its performance. We have a 400 solar panels on top of our RV and with this battery pack run our computers, NVR, WIFI, lights, never run out of power and it weighs a fraction of the lead acid batteries we were using before. It is a gem of a find and now our scope of camping experiences has broadened to just about any where we get sun light. Unlike lead acid battery we had before, it likes to be depleted down to zero periodically and so I never worry about taking too much power. In fact since it never runs low every once in a while I run my hybrid fridge on it to bring the charge down to close to zero. ... show more

  • Excellent Battery!
Style: 36V 105AH
This is an excellent battery in my opinion. I purchased one 300ah battery initially for testing. And eventually utilized it in a solar generator that I built for our company. It has definitely performed very well. And I purchased a second 300ah battery as well a few months afterward. I was hesitant at first. But I'm glad that after my research I took the chance on this particular company and battery. It is now the battery that I'll purchase by default for our specific requirements. You could purchase a more expensive battery from another competitor. But why spend unnecessary money? Do your research first. And you'll find that this is an excellent choice for most situations that can utilize this type of battery. Make sure to purchase the right charger as well though! ... show more

  • 300 AH arrived in 6 days, great customer service
Style: 36V 105AH
The battery arrived from L.A., California to Arizona thru July 4th weekend. Nice double box packaging with form weight 60+ pounds. The battery smells brand new, with 2 screws included. The battery has rope handles for easy movement. Factory voltage measured at 13.2 V. A 50% full from overseas shipping law requirement. Need to fully charge alone before put in the service. This battery replaced a 3 x 8D AGM Lifeline battery that lasted for 13 years with 4 full-time years and 10 years of storage. This cost $1000 cheaper and 280 pounds lighter with 3 to 4 times longer life in my intended usage. The total power is 33% less than the old battery due to the need for power in part-time mode, which is less. Customer support is fantastic, 15 post sell email questions answer nicely in the last few days. That included charging parameters, operating temperature, location for warranty service, and factory location. This battery price close to build it yourself battery with grade A cell. A great deal for a drop in replacement. ... show more

  • Very happy with the batteries power! It really holds a charge
Style: 36V 105AH
I have had the 300 ah for 1 week. This battery is used with a Go Power IC2000 and 4 280 watt 44.4 volt solar panels. My charge controller is 100 amp MPPT. This battery power's all of my off grid cabin. The voltage hasn't dropped below 12.4 volts. When i go to bed the voltage is usually around 13.2 and when i wake up in the morning it's been around 12.9 to 13.02. I have 4 cell phones, 3 kindles and 2 laptops charging at any given time. 3 flatscreen tv's, 110 volt lights, camper style water pump and a 110 volt submersible well pump. I would need 2 more batteries to feel comfortable powering my fridge so I stayed on propane. I did the capacity test and it is right wihin the spes given by the manufacturer. I had a few questions and they are very fast to respond and very helpful. I can't speak on longevity at this point but I will update from time to time. 2 year update! (Almost) 03/31/2023 A couple months after buying 1 We added another because we added a building that we powered off our solar system. Nothing has changed With these batteries we still love them and the numbers are the same. The only change since this review is our well. We have a drilled well with a 110 volt soft start submersible well pump. These batteries handle it no problem and haven't noticed any difference. Highly recommend these batteries ... show more

  • High hopes, but had to return with refund, but had to pay shipping back.
Style: 36V 105AH
I bought the 300 amp hour battery and it is rated at a maximum discharge rate of 200 amps. I wired a Progressive Dynamics PD9160ALV 60 amp lithium ion battery converter up an charged for five hours until the battery reached a voltage of about 13.5 volts. The inverter I used is a 2200 watt Giandel pure sine wave power inverter wired to the battery with the supplied #2 wire cables with an AiLi volt/current meter using the 350 amp shunt. The inverter was switched on and everything seemed to be working. I plugged in a 900 watt coffee maker and it worked for a couple of minutes and the ammeter was shown a current of 100 amps. Then everything went dead. None of the fuses were blown, but the battery voltage had dropped to 4.53 volts, as shown in the picture. I contacted Amazon and they said that since the battery was shipped from Chins, I needed to wait for them to contact me. It is Saturday, 2/27/2021, day two and I am waiting for a response from the company about what to do next as far as returning the battery, that by the way, weighs about 68 pounds in the box. I will update this posting after a response from Chins. Update (3/1/2021): Allen, at the company offered to send me a small 14.7 volt 10 amp charger that they said will reset the BMS to restore the battery initial condition or send the battery back and receive a replacement. He also offered as another option a full refund. At this point I am opting for the refund. The battery has the capacity I need, but I think there may be some variability in their battery management system and you may very well get a battery that will work for your situation. In the future I may want to use the full 200 amp discharge rate that the specs say this battery can deliver and think that I may have a problem in that situation. The company was fast to provide some solutions to my problem and that is a definite plus in working with this company. Update 3/11/2021: I received a refund of my purchase, but I did end up paying UPS $105.21 to ship the battery back. The company said they would reimburse my shipping, but has ignored my last two emails about actually reimbursing me for the shipping cost, which I have yet to receive. I have since bitten the bullet and purchased two Battle Born batteries, which have a stellar reputation for their product and I will feel happier about my purchase and not have to worry about any safety or performance issues. ... show more

  • I was hesitant to order, but I'm glad I did.
Style: 36V 105AH
I ordered two of these 300Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries for a travel trailer that has 2000W of solar. The batteries arrived in a reasonable amount of time, were well packaged and had no damage. They both had about 13.15V of charge upon arrival. I used a 20A lithium battery charger to bring them to full charge (14.4V), which took about 6-8 hours each (I didn't really time it). After letting them settle to 13.7V over the next 24 hours, I charged them both back to full charge, which was much quicker the second time. After letting them settle for 24 hours again, I connected them in parallel and attached the charger a third time and brought them to full charge as one large 12V 600Ah battery before installing them in the trailer. The batteries have been performing very well and recharge quickly. I can definitely recommend this product. SIX MONTH UPDATE: After using these batteries full time for a little over six months, I'm pleased to report that they have presented no problems whatsoever. They continue to charge fully and fast. I've put them through some tough real-life usage scenarios and they've performed beautifully. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for more. ONE YEAR UPDATE: I'm blown away by the rock solid performance of these batteries! I'm so glad I didn't blow thousands of extra dollars on the overpriced "gray and blue" brand. I can't say enough good things about these CHIN batteries! ... show more

  • Will not function at rated capacity in 48V configuration (4Series)
Style: 36V 105AH
I purchased eight of the 12V 300AH batteries last year (Nov/Dec 2021) before 48V configurations were available. According to their documentation these batteries can be wired in series for a 48V configuration. I did so with my eight batteries for a 4S 2P battery bank of 48V and 600AH capacity. I was initially very optimistic and proud of my build. I've done my research and installed everything myself. I used 2/0 cable and crimped every connection myself. The reason I am giving a low review is because the batteries do not stay balanced in a 4S configuration. Each battery arrived with a resting voltage of 12.3V which is fine. The batteries would stay balanced when each individual battery is below approximately 13.8V but as soon the charger reaches that point one of the batteries would spike to 14V+ and shortly after 15V+ triggering over voltage protection for one battery in series. This has happened for different batteries, in the 4 series configuration, as well and not consistently a single battery in the pack. This causes a problem because the other batteries do not charge any higher and the charge controller stops charging at 56V(set manually). The 15V+ battery would eventually reset and settle below 14V and the charging continues. At this point the process repeats itself. I have contacted Chins battery customer service and they are very responsive and tried to help me solve this problem. They even sent out a new battery to replace a possible low capacity battery. I gave it a shot and unfortunately the problem still persisted. Their last solution was to top balance each cell which was never stated in the instructions. I understand that top balancing may solve the issue but if I had known that this may be required I would have never ordered these batteries. I do not have the tools and time to take apart my system and charge the batteries up individually. I requested a refund for these batteries because of this but they want me to top balance them. I will update this if they will take them back. My latest attempt to control the imbalance was to order a 48V equalizer from watts 24/7. It can equalize at a rate up to 10A but has not been enough to keep these batteries completely balanced. It has definitely helped but it's not a solution. I have also changed the charge voltage to 54.5V to keep the batteries around 13.8V. TLDR: I have not been able to charge or utilize these batteries to their full capacity in a 48V 4S configuration. I am stuck with a ~$9000 48V 600AH system that does not perform as advertised. For 12V applications I believe these would work well in a parallel configuration. ... show more

  • Great value battery
Style: 36V 105AH
I have 2 of these 300AH batteries installed in my School bus conversion to make a 24v system. I used a 12v lithium battery charger to top balance the batteries and hooked them up in series using 2AWG jumpers to a 24v Growatt 3000 all in one inverter. Since I had them I did accidently deplete the batteries 100% by leaving my 12v lights on for an extended period of time but I used my charger and jumped the battery back to life and have never had another problem. I use these to power my mini split AC, run saws, charge drill batteries etc. while building my bus. They have performed flawlessly for me. ... show more
