These vine reviews are terrible. I bought two boxes of these “fire bricks” as extra bricks for my other fire brick i purchased at my local Mason supply store and on install day discovered the blocks are so flimsy they crumble in your hands. Well, they're firebricks alright. I've been using them to prop up my woodstove with no issues so I have no complaints. They don't seem to show any signs of cracking or anything so I think they're handling the heat reasonably well. No issues to report.
