First off, this head unit does not fit. You have to FORCE this radio in and it will not fit flush without some serious trimming of your vehicles dashboard. You should NOT have to cut your extremely expensive vehicle just for a radio made specifically to fit it. In addition to that, the instructions are literally one page with four low resolution jpegs with very little text that is not very helpful. After installing, the defrost a emergency flashers do not work. As for using the radio.. it doesn't feel like a $500 radio. While the boot up time is decent the lag can pretty bad at times, it feels like a a very outdated tablet with the memory full. which is disappointing because if you're like me you chose this particular head unit for the extra ram and memory. I'm hoping I can make some software changes to get this radio to function better. If I can get this radio to work better I will update my review and possibly change the score. ... show more

I installed this unit in my 2010 FJ Cruiser this is NON Factory JBL equipped. No factory subwoofer. It also does not have steering wheel controls. If you do NOT have factory steering wheel controls, I would not recommend it. The volume control is VERY cumbersome to operate without a know or push button(s) control. You are ON YOUR OWN when it comes to any type of operation and installation instruction. The hazards and rear defrost button ribbon cable orientation has to be modified as well to make them work. Once you figure it out, they work great. They look great in the dash, have plenty of options, and anyting for Android such as apps will work. ... show more

I am willing to give things a try and this time it bite me hard. No instructions and it seems easy, but it isn't. Ended up not having hazard lights, rear defrost, security indicator, or passenger airbag...no help anywhere as the customer service never answered an email. Plus is would turn off and on when I opened my doors (never has my radio been connected to my doors), steering wheel controls wouldn't work, mute would randomly turn off and on, screen would go black, but stay connected to my phone and do absolutely nothing. It was horrific and I wasn't about to try a replacement. Ended up having to hunt down a completely new control center to replace the damage done by this unit. ... show more
