Very well made rack, at first I didn’t like the pin being threaded but after putting it in and driving with 2 bikes it was very stable. I personally don’t use the ramp, I find it easier to lift bikes on nothing wrong with ramp just what I prefer. Well made and easy to install

In all fairness, I read a lot of the negative reviews before I bought this product. The straps are plastic and can break so I just didn't tighten them too tight. I also used a bungee cord to the vertical connection in case the straps broke. I took this all the way down the baja through the San Felipe route. The route has horrible, horrible potholes, dips, curves, inclines and declines. This is not your US highway. This route is under construction but currently horrible. This bike carrier took care of my 73 pound, Walkee F2 26x4 inch electric bike without a single problem. Excellent product, just don't overtighten the plastic straps.

I FINALLY could put out together thanks to a YouTube video that someone unrelated to the company uploaded. If you have a hero with the spare tire behind you will only be able to place one bike. After assembling it, the adapter that goes in the car racket doesn’t fit because of some defective plastic protuberance in the inside… ordered another adapter and off it didn’t work I’m retiring it all.

Once you have this built, it’s fairly sturdy and seems durable. It’s the assembly process that’s confusing. The instructions are vague, likely having been translated by a non-english speaker or, perish the thought, AI. The parts list is and the assembly illustrations are inaccurate and hard to follow. What could have been completed in 30 minutes took over an hour. My only gripes with the design are: 1) the hole in the bar that enters the hitch receiver is threaded and takes a special bolt which is provided. This really slows the installation process. 2) The block that butts against the rear tire will not lock in place. Poor design. The bike rack is, however, reasonably priced. You could fairly compare it to those in the $300 - $400 range. Worth it? Probably. By the way, buy the ramp!

Writing this review after using it for 2 weeks. It holds my e-bike quite well. But as they advertise this is not aluminum rack. Only 2 bike platforms are light weight. They could have made few other parts of aluminum like ramp, vertical bar etc.

Read a lot of positive and negative reviews on several hitch racks and this one seemed to be a good bet. When it arrived I was impressed by the careful packaging and lack of damage. Amazingly all the holes lined up and were the correct size. All the nuts and bolts were in the box. This is not always true with inexpensive Chinese hardware. Mounting the bikes was easy despite missing the illustration instructing to leave the seat post clamp off until the bike is on the rack. Overall I am very impressed with this bike rack and highly recommended it. It held my bikes securely without a lot of wobble. My only complaint is having to use a bolt instead of a regular hitch pin. The bolt makes it harder to lock the rack to my truck plus you have to carry around a 24mm socket and a half inch drive ratchet.
