  • Not the best ebike out there, but great for the price and a solid choice for a first ebike.
Color: F6B-Black Style: Standard
The good: -Bike seems to be pretty rugged. I took a fall while going off a curb on this bike and it's still fine. The pedals also fold in against the bike if it drops on its side to prevent them from breaking off, pretty clever design. -Relatively simple to assemble out of the box. Not too complex, all the tools come with the bike. -Battery seems to have a decent capacity, but no idea if it will ever live up to its advertised 80+ miles range. I highly doubt that number, maybe if you're 100 pounds and you keep it on PAS 1 all the time. Maybe. I went about 10 miles using PAS 3-4 and the battery dropped to four bars (out of five). -It's pretty good at accelerating from standstill, and even going uphill. I've never been able to go above 24-25MPH, probably shouldn't anyway for the sake of my own safety. I doubt it can go over 30 as advertised. -Suspension does a good enough job of absorbing bumps and jolts. Could be better, could be worse. Don't expect it to save you from potholes. The bad: -Compared to bikes with larger wheels, this bike has a higher chance of just launching you off forwards if you drop onto the street from the curb instead of taking the ramp. I learned this the hard way (see above). This is something inherent to the wheel size and not specifically a problem with the bike itself, but keep that in mind. -The wires are really flimsy. The line connecting the front headlight to the battery is very fragile and is prone to snapping just from you steering. That doesn't really matter much though, since the headlight is very dim even when turned on. I guarantee you that your phone's light is brighter than this thing. The rest of the lines are well protected in some sort of rubber wrapping, so I guess what really matters won't break that easily. -The chain is exposed on the right side of the bike. Get a plastic cover for it or be careful not to get lubricant on your pants. -The bell that comes with this thing is absolute trash. Get your own. -The seat that comes on this bike is kinda meh. It's good enough, technically, but it could be a lot better. Nothing of major concern unless you're going to be riding it for more than an hour daily. The interesting: -It seems the design has seen some minor updates. My bike looks slightly different from the ones I saw in the reviews before my purchase. Somebody pointed out that the text on the side said "ELECRIC BIKE", missing a T there. Mine reads "ELECTRIC BIKE", so I guess they saw that review and fixed it. -The LCD screen is new, I think. It sure doesn't look like the screen that's shown in the manual, nor do the buttons look the same either. Speaking of which, my screen cracked a bit on the top when I took that fall. It still works fine, so there's that. - This thing weighs over thirty kilograms, or seventy pounds. Unless you lift weights regularly, you really don't understand just how heavy that really is, especially when trying to lift something that's larger than you. Get a buddy to help you if you need to bring it upstairs. - The motor gives off this high-pitch whine. Not sure if that's normal, I assume it is. The brakes also squeak pretty loudly, and I don't really like that. They look fine and work fine though, so right now I just leave them be. - The lights (assuming they work) turn on automatically when you plug in the battery, and do not care whether you press the lights button or not. Don't keep your battery plugged in if you leave it on your bike. Overall: 5 stars. I'd give it a 4, BUT their customer service is pretty great, a lot better than I expected. The original headlight that came in the box was faulty, the manufacturer sent me a new one free. Of course that doesn't matter for shit now that the line has snapped, but still. ... show more

  • A lot of bike for reasonable price.
Color: F6B-Black Style: Standard
Howdy folks I am a 230 lb 6ft man 67 years old with limited mobility. (Can't walk very far with balance issues). Have ridden hundreds of miles on a 12 speed street bike. This is my first ebike. I've got about 150 miles on this bike and must report it's pretty impressive. The first 50 miles or so I rode with the brakes rubbing but didn't notice until I tried without the electric assist. So adjust those calipers or check them. This bike has taken my heavy butt to 32 mph on the flat in high gear and level 5 peddle assist. I made a half mile circle in the mowed pasture which takes me down to 2nd gear on the chain wheel going up hill but mostly in high gear and any peddle assist. I mostly peddle all the time, but it's mostly ghost peddling just to keep the assist going. Level 1 is just faster than a brisk walk, level 2 picks the pace up quite a bit, 3,4,5 are all nearer the top end 20-30mph. I have only been on a few 13-15 mile runs on back roads(paved) of Texas and more 7-10 mile runs but it's comfortable and handles well. This bike has a good headlight, taillight, and brake light. The seat post and handlebar post extend plenty. The bike folds and so do the handlebars. The brakes work fine and when adjusted properly the bike rolls fine and the motor is quiet. The tires get a little noisy at high speed but not bad. Have not put the 20ah battery to its limit but on 15 miles peddling in level 5 mostly it's at the half mark so I question 70 mile claims. Maybe level 1 or 2 would get more but they be slower miles. Will see. 85 lb or so but all in all seems like a tough little bike. The display shows total miles, trip miles that reset whenever the power is off. Also volts are displayed and how long the display is on which could be trip time if you don't stop. Comes almost assembled except front wheel, seat post, handlebar post, front fender with headlight, tail light and peddles. I continue to read about ebikes and this little gem has a lot of features of bikes twice or three times the price. The only thing I see consistently is hydraulic brakes but this seems fine with non- hydraulic or manual brakes so far. I bought this as a black Friday deal for $625 and has not disappointed so far. It has sparked my interest enough that my sights may already looking at what's next....dual motor, bigger battery?!?!???!!!!! But for a first timer you can't go wrong with this bike! I bought this bike to move with the foot traffic making their way closer to view Space X launches on South Padre Island, the end of the road! Get out there and explore! Oh, two things. Get a rear view mirror and I wish it had a couple more gears on the chain. Update.,... Have just rode 20.6 miles in pas4 on mostly flat asphalt and that was it for the battery. No complaints on the bike, just wish it had more capacity in the battery, oh and that was peddling the whole time. That's just over an hour on the bike. Other than that this is a great bike for the money. This is late Feb 2025 and that's 3 months and 225 miles. So consider a spare battery and you are set still out the door for around a thousand. Get out there while you can. ... show more
