I was initially skeptical about how soft a waterproof mattress protector could be, but I was pleasantly surprised. The bamboo fabric is very soft and comfortable, and the 3D air fabric filling makes it breathable and noiseless. I don't even notice that I have a mattress protector on. This is also very effective at keeping my mattress dry. I have spilled water on it a few times, and the mattress has stayed perfectly dry, is also machine washable, which is a great convenience.
