After receiving this steam cleaner, my first challenge was cleaning the long accumulated grease around the gas stove in the kitchen. After using this steam cleaner a few times, I've found it incredibly convenient. Many areas in my home that used to require a lot of cleaning are now much easier to clean. For example, the grease buildup around the gas stove, in the crevices of the countertop, and near the range hood is easily removed with a quick steam spray followed by a light wipe. This saves a lot of time compared to repeatedly scrubbing with detergent. I also use it to clean the bathroom tile grout, sink, faucets, and shower doors. Previously stubborn limescale and grime are much easier to remove, and the surfaces look clean and give me a sense of accomplishment. Sunday morning seemed like the right time to finally tackle the grout in the kitchen and the greasy buildup around the stove burners. Lugging this big blue steam cleaner out of the box meant filling up the large water tank with tap water and plugging the cord into the wall outlet right near the counter. Waiting a few minutes for the water to heat up gave me time to snap on the small nozzle attachment and check the pressure gauge. Pressing the trigger sent a thick blast of hot steam straight into the corners of the tile, melting away old cooking grease without having to scrub my arm off. It does take a little bit of muscle to maneuver the heavy hose around tight spaces, but the sheer amount of steam power it puts out makes cleaning the kitchen floor and bathroom tiles feel way less tedious overall.
