The product arrived within 2 days well-packaged to prevent transit damage. It was almost unbelievable what was included for $169,99. The 1/2 hp motor running the new chain on a new arm is extremely quiet. The 2 one-button personal transmitters are set up for both inserted on your keychain or on the vehicle sun visor; even the batteries were included. The light is extremely bright for its low wattage, and it turns on automatically and off when the door is closed. An adjustable switch on the side of the interior transmitter lets you choose a time to leave the door open and then closes it automatically so you never have to worry about forgetting to close it when you leave. The outside wireless transmitter has an easily set code to allow opening and closing from outside. What a complete system for such a price point. We are totally blown away by arrival, well-made, ease to install and features available!

Now, this is an inexpensive garage door opener. My expectations were fairly low, but I figured it couldn't be nearly as bad as the last two or three Genie openers I've had on that door. The last Genie lasted us about a week. Not even a dozen open, close events. I would have returned it to Home Depot, but it had been too long since I bought it. The Atoms ATR-1622CK by Skylink opener was a cinch to install and program, and after a couple of weeks, it's still working perfectly! It's already exceeded the life of the last two Genie openers combined. It is very quiet compared to the Genie. I also like the built-in LED light and the remotes.

This unit, like others have said is small and extremely quiet. All in all, the videos and install were pretty good and helpful. There's 2 things in a little dissatisfied with. I didn't see anywhere in the video that states when first using the opener, the garage door should be shut! Mine was up because it's hot in Texas. This caused the chain to come off track and was a bear to put back on. Second, and this is why I took off a star.... This garage door opener doesn't work with home link which is the built in door opener in most cars! This is frustrating, but livable.... Would have liked to have known this upfront though.

Installed the opener in my garage. My other one decided to give up the ghost. I think it was harder to remove and dispose of the old one than to install the new one. Make sure you put on the chain as shown. I first put it on the wrong side and then reinstall it correctly. It is quiet and very smooth. The remotes were also easy to program up.

I attempted to save money and buy my own unit instead of buying through a local vendor and only paid for installation with them. They were shocked and had never seen a unit that small. Inside the garage it does sound a little noisy. Outside you can hardly even hear the garage open. Some say it’s slow but I think it’s about average. It was easy for the installer and took less time than a normal unit. I wish I had opted for the wifi version for deliveries but I’m really pleased with this system. The exterior key pad works well. The only thing I don’t understand is the lock option. I don’t know why it’s even a thing it defeats the whole purpose of having a keypad and two fobs. The fobs are nice and come with a visor clip or you can use it as a keychain. The led light is ok, it’s not “that” bright in my opinion in my double garage.

Love the garage door opener! Small, sleek, quiet design. I give it a 3 because the packaging and online description are inaccurate - came with a small single button for the wall instead of the deluxe wall console as described on Amazon and on the box. The deluxe wall console is important to us so we can lock the garage door opener and have control of the light. We were not home when it we had it installed, so didn't realize the issue until AFTER installation. Now trying to figure out how to mitigate without having to return the whole thing to get the correct wall console. It has been a hassle getting it corrected with Amazon.

I did my research before purchasing a new garage door opener. Looking at the prices at the big box stores and the limited selection there, I decided to try something else. I called Skylink and talked at length with one of their managers, and after being assured that the system would work with my Homelink in my truck I ordered the chain drive with outside keypad. I was impressed with how much time he took with me since the regular phone tech couldn’t answer my questions. It arrived quickly and set up was pretty easy. I have installed openers before but not this brand. A few things were different and in a good way. I was immediately impressed with how quiet the dc motor is even with the chain. Barely noticeable from the outside and WAY quieter than my Liftmaster chain drive (although it was 25 years old, which is pretty impressive). After failing to like the remotes to my Homelink in the truck, I called and was immediately shipped an updated remote that I programmed in about 60 seconds to the unit and the truck. I’m very happy with the unit and as a handyman I’ll recommend this to people that ask me to replace their openers.

Very satisfied with the garage door opener. What I like about the 1/2 HPF opener, is that you can add a battery backup, if you lose power.
