I personally didn't like putting it together, and still can't figure where the leftover nuts and bolts were supposed to go!! But it is together and all the pieces are where they are suppose to be and it is stable. I wouldn't rely on the thermostat on the lid either...But the first order of business, was smoking a pork butt. It was on sale, so figured it to be a good cheap practice piece of meat...I have a flavor injector that I used to inject some herbs and seasonings in a grapeseed oil base. I didn't know exactly what I was going for, or what I was going to get exactly either. I had to add fresh briquettes after a couple of hours, and I really needed longer tongs, so I just hand tossed about 40 to 50 briquettes on top of the hot coals already established and a tiny squirt of fluid, stand back...lol. Everything stayed hot, I refilled the water pan twice...I have decided there are other ways to do the water by filling cans from vegetables with water so I can use the drippings from the meat for other purposes. All this to say it's a fun toy for those who like to experiment. After 4 hours my meat was transformed into a juicy, delicious roast that had the smokiness of ham without all the insane amount of salt. I injected some salt, but not too much. I ended up using the meat for some very amazing breakfast sandwiches, as well as a breakfast casserole. I used my Seal- A Meal to save some slices so I can grab a slice for a breakfast sandwich whenever I want. I have used it as a simple BBQ as well and it is wonderful. It can also be used as a fire pit, and I like this when camping and marshmallows are the thing...I can see using this in a 1000 different ways. The smoker takes longer than the BBQ so plan accordingly. I love that I don't have to plug anything in to cook, because where I live, we head out and kind of glamp...Air mattress, BBQ, outdoor shower fishing poles, and huge ice coolers...and a million stars...So all these features make it a 5 star product that I will enjoy for years to come. It's not huge, but can easily accommodate a family of 4 and one begging dog. I am glad I bought it .

The smoker worked fine, however, a lot of grease spattered and leaked all over the exterior as it cooked, due to the two piece body. Also, the charcoal pan should be heavier duty and deeper at the edges.

First time using. And only kept it at 200f the paint is chipped off. I like design thought easy to put together. Just suggested spending a little more money one on that with better material

The product didn't fit right together. When you put the top half onto the bottom....you need to be careful about burning your hands. Just sucked.
