    • Excellent stool, but with one deficiency

This is an excellent product - I bought several of them. I am giving it 4 stars for sturdiness, however, not because it isn't per se sturdy, but because of the black plastic ring at the bottom that is supposed to prevent scratching, I suppose, on the floor by the stainless steel bottom. That plastic part disintegrates immediately if not already disintegrated in the shipping box. Luckily, there is an easy fix. I bought 25' of black edging on Amazon and it goes right onto the exposed edge of the metal on the bottom and is very robust. It makes it a little harder to slide the stool, at least on our porcelain tile floor, but it holds together nicely. I like the texture of this chair and the fabric is quite sturdy and nice. But it is much smaller than I thought. If only it was a little bigger it could have earned a 5 star to me. Also, one of the chairs apparently is not well greased and it makes a lot of noise when I turn around and there is a white powder ( apparently because it is dry and not enough lubrication) coming out. I hope the manufacturers should pay heed to these. ... show more

Very sturdy, stylish chair. Well made and works great. Grey leather-like fabric is very nice and easy to clean. Customer service was amazing when we had an issue with one of the hydrolic parts and sent us a new one right away. Would definitely purchase from this company again.

Buy it! Excellent product, sturdy and comfortable, reasonably priced. All my guests like them. The customer support lady - Ms. Nicole S. is amazingly pleasant and efficient. I had a little problem with one of the lifts, she managed to send UPS pickup the whole stool at my front door the next day, and I received replacement stool the morning after. I bought 4 of these direct from Zuri one month ago. Two were damaged on arrival, one had upholstery stain and the other had broken dried out plastic spline at stainless base where it is supposed to keep base from scratching the floor. Customer service was responsive and the damaged units were replaced. Now, one month later, all of the base plastic splines are broken in multiple places. I have to assume that this is a constant problem on all of the chairs if only you will check the base. I will buy new plastic or rubber dplinecand repair them myself.
