If you wish you had a real sauna in your house but don’t got the money for it, this is your next best alternative. I usually use the real sauna at the gym before my workouts to trigger HGH (human growth hormone) and get my heart rate up as well. The real sauna gets up to 160-180 F. This one heats up to 140 and I sit in it for 25 mins. My skin doesn’t feel as hot as when I use the real sauna but I definitely work up my heart rate and sweat profusely in this thing. I also don’t keep my head out. I just cover up the hole and sit completely zipped up in it crossed legged. I’m worried that the extra 20 degrees missing is robbing me of HGH production but I’m just gonna hope for the best because I’m still having better sleep and don’t see any differences between this and the real one yet. I think I can say I love it so far. It’s only week 3 and I’ve used it 5 times. I just take a nice lukewarm shower after and I feel like a million bucks. Plus, it heats up in under 10 mins. This thing is amazing! Originally I had ordered a sauna bed but returned it to have the sit up type like this one. As soon as I got it it was very easy to assemble... just had to take off the wrapping lift it up, turn it on .it was hot in 10 minutes. Sat in it for 15 minutes with a towel on the floor and towel on the chair. It was very relaxing and I slept very well that night and skin is very soft. I definitely recommend this it's worth it I believe it's more effective than the saunas in the gym because it's infrared. because it's your own little personal 'sweatbox' and gets very warm very quickly, you just need to wrap up in a towel or sit in there nude if you want to... either way it's your own private sauna Its awesome! ... show more

    • Very convenient
This is a very convenient product, wish I knew about this 2 years ago… anyway I got it and tried it out this evening. I love going to the sauna and I can say I had a good experience with this. I did not have to put any Albolene on my skin at all to get the Sweating going. I put my soon to be 2 yr old to bed, put this thing together in mins, plug it in and it was ready. I put the chair in and put a towel on the chair and one covering the foot pad. I had my under clothes on and some socks and got in it was very hot at this point. Everything was wet in 30mins of being in this product. I stayed in for 40 mins and I felt great. I did not have the over eating fatigue I normally have in a traditional sauna…I could feel my heart rate increasing and it was an amazing feeling at this point, feeling the water just falling off my body. I could have stayed in longer but I knew I was going to wake up and start my new routine in the morning. Sauna 2 times a day 1 hr in this product in the mornings 1 hr in a portable steam sauna in the evenings I took a regular shower and at the end a very cold shower to finish off. I feel very blessed to have found this product, no need to look for a baby sitter to go to the sauna anymore.     • MUST HAVE FOR GYM RATS
We ordered this for our son to help him cut weight during the wrestling season and it works GREAT for that, but what I didn't realize is how much I would use and enjoy it! I get in two or three times a week to help recover from the gym and to just relax and it does wonders for my body and piece of mind! When I first got it, it was hard to fit comfortable inside. The opening for the head is to far forward on the top and I had to hunch forward to fit, I'm only 5'10 and 160lbs. I did figure out that by not setting up the support poles I could mold the fabric around me and get a comfy sauna experience. After the third use the sauna won't turn on anymore and I can't find the manufacturer info on amazon and customer service so far hasn't been able to help. ... show more

    • Not what I expected
Initially worked fine. Now temperature won’t reach above 125 degrees even after waiting 20-30 min. Zipped completely up. Only used maybe 6 times and want 140 degrees. Careful the inside of 2 way zipper gets hot and can burn you if not careful. I may get in it 1-2 times a month as I need the higher temperature. Already returned one before. Was a little worried about your head sticking out, but you still sweat, a lot. Already paid for it’s self by not paying to use a sauna elsewhere. Gets hot, stays hot. Put a towel down on the floor on top of the pad so the sweat doesn’t reach the zipper.
