I bought these lights so that I could light up my front porch without attracting annoying bugs that always get in the house when I let my dog out at night. Amazingly, these lights can get bright enough to attract said bugs, however, with the remote, you can dim the lights. You can also charge the solar panel indoors if there is not enough sunlight to charge it. Also, when the solar panel is left in direct sun, it charges to 100% in just a few hours. The media could not be loaded. I used this for my outdoor Tiki hut. I like the remote with all is features. Out of the did not work. I placed USB to charge, walla suddenly it started working. I mostly like the dim availability. UPDATE: It's been under 2 weeks and these lights work when they want. Sometimes they turn on, Sometimes they don't come on. Extremely disappointed as I paid a professional to zip tie them to my Tiki Hut. A lot of work to take down to return. Ugh ... show more

We made a patio outside and used these lights for our night time fun. They are very cute and provide the needed light. Very nice. The only issue might be from our solar panels, we don't get the energy we "always" need. Honestly, it could be our placement of the solar panels and not the product itself. Right up front, my favorite thing about these lights is the fact that the solar panel can be charged in an outlet when there isn't enough sunlight available. I live in a place with lots of sunlight most of the year, but even we have an overcast day every once in a while. I love that I can charge these lights anyway and still use them in the evening. This set of lights also came with lots of hardware for hanging the lights and the solar panel. Depending on where you place the lights you may want to hang the solar panel or stake it in the ground or even put it on a wall or fence. This set came with everything you need. I got these to supplement some string lights I already have and these are somewhat smaller than my other lights, but they still emit a good amount of light. The lights have three modes, one always on and two blinking modes. You can control the modes using the remote control and can also set a timer for the lights to go off. Everything worked as expected. I did have a problem with my first set of lights because one of the bulbs wasn't functioning, but I was able to quickly and easily get a replacement and the second set worked just fine. ... show more

The product is very pretty but has faults. It doesn't stay on all night after charging all day. I only got 1 replacement bulb instead of 3, but installed it in my backyard before seeing the fine print, so am not returning or replacing.
