My dog had a 2am ER vet visit in august 2022 because his stomach was so jacked up. I truly didn’t think I was coming home with my dog that night, was certain I was saying goodbye to my best friend. He had pancreatitis so bad I didn’t know what was happening and it hit FAST. He went on antibiotics, probiotics and some other meds for an issue not related to his stomach. 10 days of these strong meds and he was back to himself, that is until I put him back on his normal diet. I spent weeks researching this, how to prevent another bout with it and changing his diet to accommodate his new needs. Nothing truly helped. Then it hit me, the probiotics the vet gave him did help, but they are EXPENSIVE and I don’t have pet insurance (don’t qualify) so I went on a new search and found zesty paws, I read reviews for over an hour before I made a purchase. Within two weeks his stool was back to normal consistency and color, he was excited for food again, the itching he had stopped, even issues he had with his eyes that we thought were allergy related stopped. He wasn’t eating grass anymore. All was well again. I won’t say it’s a fool proof solution, we have had some over night issues that I had to fix with bland foods and pumpkin for 24-48 hours. But it’s helped TREMENDOUSLY. I have a hefty boy, a 90 something pound pitbull (yes he’s chunky we’re working on it) he gets two of these every afternoon and one at night before bed (total of 3 a day) I love having the chicken free option (pumpkin) as my Loki is allergic to chicken, he isn’t huge on the flavor but he still eats them, I think he knows they make his tummy feel better. I also love that they have several other “vitamins” for different issues that can be combined together. My dog actually wakes me up so she can have her probiotic bite heart! My daughter lets her out in the early morning and then she comes back to bed with me but around 6 or 7 she starts hitting me and barking to tell me it’s time to go get her meds lol. She runs to the table and sits in the chair and excitedly waits for it. It’s just too funny how much she enjoys it and I feel they have certainly helped with her anxiety diarrhea and overall gut health so this is a win win! ... show more

We have been really happy with the Zesty Paws in the Orange tub so I thought “Advanced” version! Maybe it’s just too much for our little guy but he had diarrhea for a week straight. We kept using it thinking maybe he needed to get rid of some stuff or needed to adjust but after a week we decided the less advanced version is better. That said, we’ve tried other, less expensive brands that didn’t seem to do anything at all. With the regular version we’ve said goodbye to tummy upset and going back and forth from constipation to diarrhea. ... show more

Very helpful for my two dogs with chronic ear gunk and infections. After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars at the vet to get the same diagnosis and same meds that never fully cleared up their ears multiple times, these probiotics have their ears looking perfect.
