I started my large dog on this product last month after he was diagnosed with allergies. He was scratching so much no matter what we tried. Thought we would give these a try. For the first few weeks he was fine and then he started throwing up his whole breakfast pretty much every day, usually within an hour of eating. There have been no changes in his food and he does get high quality food. I feed him twice a day and he receives the same meal for day and night feedings. He never vomits after eating his night time meal. The only difference between the day and night time meal is four of these chews in his dry food. He gets a little wet food on the side along with his dry food for every meal He loves the flavor and eats them right up along with his dry food. There is absolutely no medical reason for it as he has been seen by our vet twice for this. I quit giving him the chews in the morning and suddenly he is not vomiting his breakfast anymore. No rhyme or reason, but it is what it is and he will not be receiving these anymore. ... show more

My dog use to take Apoquel for this skin allergies, because of course he would be allergic to the new bermuda grass we installed some years back, and it worked so-so but was like $100 a month. I ran across this and decided to give it a try and it works amazingly. No more itching, red patches on this body, or red and wet eyes, plus it's wayyyy cheaper. It works better than the Apoquel.
