I rarely write reviews, but I had such a great experience that I felt it deserved to be shared. I recently installed two of these ceiling fans in my living room, and not only do they look fantastic and work perfectly, but the customer service truly went above and beyond. Due to my sloped ceiling, I needed a 24" extension down rod. After purchasing the down rods, I realized I would also need longer wiring to complete the installation. I reached out to customer support with some questions about the electrical schematic and explained my situation. To my surprise, they responded very promptly and took the time to thoroughly explain everything to ensure I was set up for success. What really blew me away was that they offered to send me a compatible extension down rod and the extension wiring I needed—completely taking the stress out of what could have been a complicated situation. It’s rare these days to see a company so willing to go the extra mile for their customers, and I was honestly caught off guard in the best way. As for the fans themselves: they have a memory function, which is great if you want to use a wall switch to turn them on and off—the fans will recall their last settings. When you want to make adjustments, the wireless remote makes it easy. You can even pair multiple fans to a single remote, which is super convenient.     • Once set up, it is an awesome fan!

This fan pushes a ton of air! We keep the fan on power level 3 at night and that is more than enough. This fan replaced a 5 year old fan that was slightly off balanced or damaged or something, and that was making a clicking and squealing noise all night. This seems like such a solid, well built fan, and we are hoping to get many more years out of it. It took me just over 2 hours to uninstall the old fan and install the new one. I was standing on an unstable bed the entire time so it took a little longer than normal. The instructions were easily to follow and I have wired multiple fans in the past so that was the easiest part for me. The hardest part was installing the blades while the fan motor was already mounted... this is how the instructions say to do it. I may recommend installing the blades while the fan is not mounted yet, and just hoisting the entire fan up on the mount after... it was a pain lining up the screws and holding the blade in place above my head the whole time (15 screws). So that just took me longer... Otherwise, this fan is so quiet, love the features it offers (lighting, dimming, many speeds, and timer). Would highly recommend for the price (got on sale for $111 +tax). 5/5 thanks for reading. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It seems fine. It was cheap. You can see in the video that the outer casing has a wobble that’s really just the barrel not being the same height all the way around. Otherwise the barrel roundness seems fine. Warm light is really yellow, and natural is pretty blue, but again, let’s remember I got it pretty cheap. Operates quietly, remote works fine, and this mounting bracket actually has room for the receiver module and the wiring. I did another one these from another manufacturer and that receiver barely fit with wires. Overall seems fine. ... show more

We installed the Yuhao DY1083-5B/52 ceiling fan purchased here. It replaces an old ceiling fan. Step 2 required us to install two machine screws into the existing plastic electrical box from 1994. The supplied Bracket was about ¼ inch too wide for the existing electrical box holes. We bought a metal electrical ceiling lighting box from Lowes for $4.33. The previous old plastic box was not flush up against the trus, leaving a gap. We cut a custom piece of wood to fill the gap (the new metal box was 2 1/8" deep, but the distance to the truss brace was 3 1/2") The new box had cut outs for Romex and built-in clamps. I think it worked out great and we are positive it is secure enough to hold 35 kg for many years. The new box also fit the supplied Bracket. It's a great product that works great. It's much better than the Hampton Bay or Hunter fans we saw at Home Depot. ... show more
