This is a beautiful rowing machine that is well made and easy to assemble. It came well-packaged with no damage to any of the wood pieces. The package itself was quite heavy, but I was able to manage by myself. Assembly was straightforward with an easy-to-follow instructions manual and all of the screws and pieces clearly labelled. It was also nice that different screws were noticeably different from each other. The major pieces came pre-assembled, and I was able to assemble the rest of the machine by myself. When completed, the machine looks beautiful. The dark reddish-brown wood stain matches well with the black accents and the red rotating paddle. Part of the description states it is made of oak while another mentions “beech textures”. Regardless of what type of wood its made from, the pieces feel solid, they smell nice, and the textures are beautiful. The product came with a funnel and a hand pump, but the opening was wide enough that I could easily use a pitcher without either accessory. I am not sure what is the exact capacity of the water tank, but I poured about 8 liters (approx. 2.12 gallons) of water to reach the level 1 water level. There is a level guide on the side of the tank that lists six levels of resistance (with level 1 being the minimum). While in use, the entire machine rests on the four sets of circular rubber feet (each a group of four). Both the seat and the pulley system glides back and forth smoothly. With each pulling motion, the pulley activates the the paddles and it spins the water. There is no wobbling or any feelings of unbalanced sides. Everything is executed with a fluid motion, and it feels like any professional rowing machine. The feet straps are as expected, and the shoe brace has several increments of adjustment so that you can adjust the height of the supports to fit the size of your shoe. The LED display does a good job of clearly showing your performance metrics; however, it does require the use of batteries. (It would have been extra nice if it had internal batteries that were charged by the rowing motion, but that probably would have added to the cost.) From the quality of the wood pieces and comfort of the handle and seat cushion to the excellent fit and finish of the parts and overall durability, everything is well made. My favorite favorite feature is how the entire machine can fold in half. When folded, it only occupies a space of 14”W x 29”D x 39.75”H. While I haven’t quite figured how how to effectively wheel it around with both sets of wheels (I just unfold it and use one set of wheels), it is nice that it has two sets of wheels. The tank’s seals are strong enough that there are no leaks even with the machine sitting upright. I would recommend this YOSUDA Water Rowing Machine. It was easy to assemble and functions smoothly. Everything about it looks great from its wood stain and black accent color to the size of the semi-transparent tank and the large red plastic paddle wheel in the middle. This machine looked very nice in the pictures and it looks even better in person. It looked daunting to put together when I was inboxing it, but it was quite easy to assemble everything and add water to be up and rowing in less than 30 minutes. The quality of everything was beyond what I expected. The wood and finishing is very posh and classy looking - definitely not a piece of equipment that you want to hide away, but you can if you want because it is super easy to fold over and roll into a closet. This is a great addition to our exercise equipment. It is not only beautiful (looks more like furniture than exercise equipment) but it is makes for a great low-impact workout. I am recovering from a broken tail bone and could not use the stationary bike any longer and this is perfect. The seat is comfortable and it glides so smoothly. The resistance is just enough. I am also short (5'0") and it fits me perfect. My husband is 6'4" and it also fit him great! I was looking for a rowing machine to take some stress of my feet. Space was also a problem so when I saw this I figured I'd give it a try. It was packaged very well and was easy to put together. There's only 8 screws that tighten easily with the included tools. Two more screws to attach the electronic display/phone holder. The wood finish is really nice and the machine is very solid. This is even more compact than I anticipated. I figured I'd have to do some major re-arranging to fit in our exercise room, but it folds up easily for storage and is very narrow when in use. It's rows smoothly and the water paddles make it look, feel and sound very realistic, all of which makes this a lot of fun to use. This water rower is awesome. Not only does it do the job of working all your muscles but it actually is a great looking piece of equipment. It holds my large framed 330 lbs easily. It’s going to take some assembly once it arrives but you won’t need to be a technical genius to figure it out. Nuts & bolts and snap ins (basic). Most of it is already assembled. The seat is quite comfortable and slide/rolls very smoothly. The shoe sized feet rests will accommodate all. It stores away nicely and rolls to position easily.
