This elliptical does all it is supposed to do. It is a perfect size to move around and is very quiet and easy to use. It can go up to a speed of 10 but I would advise starting with 3 or 4 and working up to that. It does burn calories and shows just how many have been burned! It is not too heavy and a perfect way for seniors to get flexibility and condition their legs. It is worth the price and my husband and I both use it and feel it is doing what it is supposed to. We are very satisfied with it.

This machine is great. It has helped strengthen my legs since I got it a week ago. The automatic programs are convenient. The parameters measured are helpful. At least I can see calories burned! Today the machine stopped working. Amazon customer service has always been the best. Before they could take action, I found the problem and cancelled the replacement order. If your machine stops working, don't forget to check the power cord where it enters the back of the machine. The power cord is not hard wired internally to the machine. The power cord plugs into the back of the machine , the other end plugs into an outlet. Some how the plug had dislodged from the back of the machine. Even though I had thought the machine was defective, I still wanted a replacement of the same machine because I like it so much. The machine is not defective and is working fine now. My bad for not checking both ends of the power cord. Amazon customer service is the best. This machine is great! Get one!

Both of my knees are bone-on-bone, and I have mobility issues. Walking/standing is very painful on my knees. I bought this to use while watching TV to help keep my leg strength and flexibility. It is super easy to use. Not sure if it actually works under a desk, especially if you have long legs, it might not work. But I don't use it under a desk. You can use manually and adjust the direction and speed, or you can use a pre-programmed routine, i use the 30 minute routine. So far, I really like it and it gets my circulation going. Which is why I bought it. The only thing I don't like is that it moves/creeps forward when using on carpeting. My fix for that, humorously, is my dog's rubber tug of war toy placed under it. It doesn't move. So you may need a rubber mat of some sort if using it on carpeting. The noise level is low. Even on speed 10, I don't need to turn the tv up. However, if used in an office setting, others will be able to hear it, so I wouldn't say you can use it in the office if you're in an open office/cubicle situation. My husband can hear a "whirring" noise in the basement when I use it. So it makes noise on the floor itself. All in all, I've had no mechanical or other issues so far and I like using it. May even start using it twice a day. It's a bit bulky but easily fits in a corner or closet floor.

I purchased this YOSUDA Under Desk Elliptical for my husband. He has severe COPD and cannot exercise without getting totally out of breath. He is also a diabetic and has peripheral neuropathy. At first, he was hesitant to use it much but now he is on it several times a day. He peddles it without socks and the little knobs on the top of the footplate stimulate the nerve endings in his feet. He has been watching his TV shows and exercising it at the different speeds, like 1-10. He has a problem with the neuropathy at night especially. He is taking medication for it, and it does help some. He says that since he has used this machine, he can tell a small difference in the pain in his legs. Hopefully, before long he can say it helps more. The ease of movement is super smooth. He is using it for at least 30-45 minutes a day and is getting a good workout in his legs, knees, thighs, and feet. There is very little noise while it is on, and it is not distracting at all. There was no assembly at all as it came put together. He is not too worried about burning calories as much as he is in getting more feeling and strength in his legs. Super happy with this purchase so far.

Device was a gift for my son working at desk in his room. The exerciser fits neatly under his desk, is quiet, and surprisingly effective. You can feel your muscles being worked throughout your legs and into your hips! I never would have considered the amount of workout you obtain from this machine, but my legs feel invigorated & I can sense the blood flow. I love this machine and although I exercise outside the house, this device keeps my legs moving while sitting at my desk! It also has various speeds as well as a timer to determine your workout period with a nice bright digital readout. The remote means I don't have to bend down to the machine each time I want to change features and the 'built-in' carrying handle allows for easy mobility or shifting of the machine. I simply sit at my desk at home, start working on the computer, and turn the exerciser on to work out my legs. Considering purchasing a spare!

Worked fine but not what I expected. I work at a desk all day and thought this unit would help provide me with some exercise while I’m sitting. What I didn’t realize when I purchased it was that it’s 100% passive range of motion. There is 0 work on your part. It will move your legs for you at different speeds but you do nothing but strap your feet in and go for the ride. This would be very good for patients with disabilities or after a stroke who need reconditioning of their legs. Or very elderly people who are stiff from lack of exercise. It’s not for a fully active mobile person looking for exercise while sitting at their desk working.
