The elliptical itself is decent, the angle is a bit steep at the top your foot is angled about 45 degrees downward, so instead of like a jog or even a hill climb it is like you are walking down a mountain, other than that though it is quiet and works well. The monitor is kind of a pain to install everything else was easy setup.

I was happy to receive my elliptical until we put it together . The swing arms are loose , no matter want we try to do , it stay loose . I put insurance and have not found the contract In my mail . I’ve use it four times and the entire machine seems to be wobbly. I just realize my big loss . I’m not able to put this heavy machine together to se d back due to my disability . Don’t buy not worth it . I don’t recommend

I read some other reviews complaining about how hard the machine is to put together but honestly I'm not sure what they're talking about as it's only 5 steps, the nuts, bolts and screws are nicely packaged and grouped by step number, it also comes with all the tools needed and the instructions are clearly spelled out. I was able to assemble mine in under two hours, and the workout itself is really great. It's very smooth, basically silent, and you get the same intensity as running without all the aches and joint pain.

This looked intimidating when you take all the pieces out, but assembling it was not bad. For one thing, many bolts were already fitted in the larger pieces they went with, which is a plus. The bolts and nuts and washers that were not so attached were in separate, numbered pouches that went with the steps in the instructions. This is becoming a standard in many Chinese made products needing assembly and it makes life so much easier! Instructions were clear and assembly was hassle-free. This is advertised as an “elliptical climber,” and it is definitely closer to a stair master than a running-style elliptical. It makes for a challenging, low impact cardio session. The resistance is smooth and easy to dial in. Fit and finish is pretty good. The arms (the parts you move with your hands, that is) we’re a little loose and rattled till I realized you needed to tighten them every few sessions. That’s something I’ve found to be the case on my “higher end” American made spin bike as well, so no points lost there. I may come back and apply some locktite in the future if it bothers me. The challenge level on this equipment is good for both steady-state workouts (like a thirty-minute slog at a sustainable pace while you watch the news) and more intense interval work where you “sprint” hard for two minutes here and there. I weigh about 230 pounds on a good day and I find it strong and stable enough to take maximal efforts. I use this in rotation with my old spin bike and a new rower to get both easy cardio and challenging efforts in. It seems easy on the joints. The motion is awkward at first and it takes a minute to get going in earnest. It is also nice and quiet compared to treadmills, rowers, etc. I like it and would buy again.
