I read some other reviews complaining about how hard the machine is to put together but honestly I'm not sure what they're talking about as it's only 5 steps, the nuts, bolts and screws are nicely packaged and grouped by step number, it also comes with all the tools needed and the instructions are clearly spelled out. I was able to assemble mine in under two hours, and the workout itself is really great. It's very smooth, basically silent, and you get the same intensity as running without all the aches and joint pain.

My wife and I BOTH were looking for a low-impact and variable intensity exercise machine and were thrilled when given the opportunity to review this YOSUDA high end elliptical machine. First, it IS very well made, not that difficult to complete the assembly, and the instructions to finish the assembly are the best I've ever seen...quite impressive. Second, the overall size footprint of this elliptical was smaller than the ellipticals found at most gyms, which makes this a perfect apparatus for home usage. After assembly I put some strips of foam matting under the front and rear legs which makes it easy to slide around on our wood floors, that way we can move it closer to the tv to use and slide out of the way when not in use. It is about 100 pounds so it is a beefy and well made piece of equipment, nothing cheap about it. Third, let's get into the actual exercise portion of this elliptical machine. I personally consider this elliptical machine more of a "hybrid" in that it incorporates the motion of an elliptical machine AND motions of a stair climber. It doesn't have the long stride of a typical elliptical, and doesn't have the radical high intensity movement of a stair climber...just a bit of both but in a reduced scale. Setting the exercise resistance dial to the least intense if perfect for just getting on it and lightly exercising to get the heart pumping and getting some exercise. But as you increase the resistance using the big easy-to-reach dial certainly increases the amount of resistance to the point it will kick your ass if that is how you want your exercise session to go. Whatever the resistance you select, the smooth and ultra quiet movement of this machine is easy on your joints greatly reducing the likelihood of injury. How ever your intensity level you select the machine stays put and doesn't move around. Fourth, to wrap up this review, our initial impression was quite favorable, and now after using this elliptical machine for the last 2 months our impression has not changed. Well made, quiet, variable levels for the type and intensity of your workout, and my old joints aren't hurt after an extended session on this YOSUDA Elliptical Machine. Overall impression is very favorable.

When opening the box, it looked daunting to the Yosuda, but, I sat down, and read the manual (what a concept!) and it helped a lot. I would recommend making the pictures larger. It is nearly impossible to see the order of some of the screws and bolts. The packaging was remarkable! Each part was securely wrapped. EVEN BETTER: What made it even better was locating their video on YouTube and WOW - that made ALL the difference. I could pause the video, take that step, watch the next step, and repeat. WATCH THE VIDEO!!! You will be glad you did. The parts are VERY solid and heavy. I didn't have a problem lifting them, and I put it together all by myself, so it took a bit longer than with two people - but I finished it in about 1.5 hours. As I was putting it together, I felt how solid it was. The only part that was "minimal", is probably the electronic part. Having said that, it does what it is supposed to do. Nothing fancy. I don't need fancy. I like that I can dial the tension up and down which can provide a bit of a challenge. I am glad I have it and feel like it will help motivate me after working all day and it being too late to take a walk outside. Terrific elliptical.
