I got this alarm for my 2018 Grom. It is EXTREMELY loud. It will definitely draw attention and being close with the alarm going off honestly hurt my ears. Which I think is good sign that it will deter anyone who may attempt to take it. Others mention it is very sensitive but I have found that it only goes off when messing with the lock itself. I drove my vehicle close to my bike to test it, as well as walking past it and touching other parts of the bike(seat, handle bars, gas tank, squeezing break). Both times the alarm did not go off. If you don't enter your key correctly, then the alarm will go off which was annoying at first but If you master the technique to enter your key fast enough then it's great. As far as durability goes no one has attempted to slice it off but it is pretty heavy and seems like it will be able to hold up. I would recommend as additional layer of protection for you bike/motorcycle! ... show more

I purchased this for my Kawasaki Z125 because sometimes I have to leave my bike out in a rough area. This will give me a decent amount of peace of mind and is well worth the price from what I can ascertain so far. The lock seems solid and the alarm is super loud, it actually hurts the ears. This little gadget is great and packs a loud punch! Especially for such a decent price, definitely would recommend. I've seen comments complaining about it being sensitive but I've had no problems and I'm in FL where the rain hits hard and it has not caused myself or neighbors to go crazy. Read some of the reviews saying the alarm is very sensitive which is why i bought it. Put it on and it wont sound the alarm unless it hits something. I can aggressively sit on the bike, thrash the handle bars, roll it back and forth....nothing. Until it hits the fork from rolling all the way around it makes no sound. I thought maybe the batteries were dying so i used the extras it came with and still nothing. I'll try new new batteries but ive accepted i got the chinesium i paid for. Oh well, certainly not the worst $15 ive spent. It still works as a lock. ... show more
