The media could not be loaded. For years I've looked for a small underwater pump that would work in my very small and shallow pond. It needs to pump enough water to fill a broken water urn to make a waterfall. For years the pumps were very expensive and large, then I found two small pumps that helped fill the bill, but they stopped working simultaneously. I went to Amazon and found this one. It works perfectly and has a strong output. Recently, the pump seemed to lose its power and as I have often done with others is to take it apart and clean out the debris. But it only helped some and I feared I'd have to buy another one. The other day it was barely pumping water, and I took it apart as usual, and I also ran water through the tubing to clean it out. This time I forced water through the tubing and a lot of debris came out and even a second time more debris came out. Now the pump is putting out water at full force and I'm ecstatic! My pond has two small Koi and about 7 goldfish. They are very dirty little fish, and they can dirty a pond very fast with their feces. I'm very happy with the pump. This thing will pump more water than what is listed, but there's a cost for that. It is LOUD. My intent was to pump water from a 20 gallon long tank to 4 small fry boxes mounted on top of the tank. The adjustable flow rate is nice, lift was no problems, but the noise! You can actually hear the grinding noise of the pump on a different floor of the house. At first I thought the air pump for the brine shrimp bottle was vibrating against the glass behind the aquarium. I checked everything. Unplugged every item except this pump. It was indeed this pump impersonating a palm sander. If you plan on using this pump outdoors, perhaps in a fountain, it might be ok. If you don't like the sound of trickling water, but prefer the sound of a distant chainsaw, this pump is for you. ... show more
