I've used scratch removers that were way better than this stuff. It only removed this slightest of scratches. I found that it works better if you apply over the scratch area an let it dry for about 2 minutes, then buff. It does give a good shine though.

    • Great for surface level scratches
The product works well for surface scratches that aren’t into your paint. It is essentially a buffing compound and very easy to apply and buff out. Compared to Meguires which I typically use, I think it’s comparable, but slightly less effective. I used this on a wicked door ding on my brand new 2 week old vehicle… it got it about 90%, but even the deeper into the clear coat scratches are still very much there. To be clear, it’s deep enough it will need repainted, no scratch removal compound will fix it. If you know the limitations of this type of product you won’t be disappointed. If you think it’s a miracle cream, you will be let down. ... show more

My husband scratched the side of the passenger door of my red car. It is a minor 2” scratch that was only through the clear coat—not into the red paint. This remover works by removing the roughed up clear coat and then fills in wax to replace the clear coat’s shine. It worked well. It only took me fifteen minutes to finish and I had to wash the door first. It looks much better. I suspect that I will have to reapply every so often just like regular car wax. But that is a small price to pay considering how much better it looks. ... show more

This Car Scratch Removal Wax product comes with everything you “supposed” need to remove scratches, so last weekend I put it for a test. I had a few scratches on the right side of the rear bumper, someone did that in a parking lot and left…, my car is black, so it was very visible, not deep, so I thought is using the product and see how would perform. The kit comes with a small round foam, the wax paste and a soft cloth. I try using what comes with the kit, and did not really work, issue here is that the foam is too soft and do not actually remove any clear coat. In order to truly remove scratches, you actually will be removing the clear coat of the paint to even the surface. With the provided foam that is impossible, I had my hand and arm burning after 30 plus minutes trying to remove the scratches. The provided foam pad does not have the abrasive properties to do the job. I then used my polishing power tool with a more abrasive polish pad and progressive change the pad to fine cut and polishing. The result was good, I got the scratch almost invisible. In conclusion, this product has an ok wax paste, which is more wax than polishing, means not very abrasive. Nothing special or miracle, and definitely will not accomplish the result displayed on the product package/box (White car with scratches). I think the product “may” be ok with really small scratches (but really small), but do not have hope to be able to remove anything more than that. With the above said, I will give 3 stars to the product, hoping that some people may benefit from it on very light and small scratches. ... show more

    • 100% gimmick, save your money
I was excited to try, my son scratched my wife's trunk lid with a boogie board covered in sand. Just tried this product and it didnt remove any or darken the deeper scratches. Look into Meguiar ultimate compound that has worked best

My last tube of scratch remover that I had, from use on our last vehicle, had pretty much dried up. Though not totally perfect, I was extremely pleased with the results from this former brand of scratch remover. BUT, I did need a new tube of something for our newly purchased vehicle - just in case the need should arise! I wanted to try a new brand this time to see if technology had improved to the point where a scratch could truly be removed. So, far, EVERY single product that I have tried and tested over the years, has failed to live up to its promises. So, I have no reason to doubt that this new product will likewise, fail to live up to its own hype and will also, fail to meet its own expectations. To demonstrate this blatent, false marketing, take for example, the way that this product shows very clearly on its outer carton, photos of deep scratches going down to the BLACK plastic in bumbers, and then the "after shots" revealing that there is no damage to be seen. And yet, their own wording states that their product is only for light to medium marks - total mis-representation, in most peoples view. Later, I will update this review with real-time, live tests, so that, if by some miracle I am wrong and, this stuff is so good that it will actually "remove" deep scratches, (as shown on their carton), I will eat my words and adjust my review accordingly. Until then, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt - for now, and try this product with an open mnd. But, I have deducted one star for the obvious dishonest marketing on their carton. ... show more

    • Minimal difference noticed on light surface scratches
I tried using this on some light surface scratches on the clearcoat of my truck paint. I think it made very minimal difference. Definitely cleaned the area well, but not really sure it made the scratches less noticeable.
