  • Decent
Configuration: 2016-2022
Sturdy bars and easy to install. Took almost an hour. Strong construction and looks good on the 2022 Pilot. Only thing I don't like is the noise while driving. Wish it was more quiet.

  • Good value, but instructions could use some work.
The fit of the cross bars was good on my 2009 Honda Pilot and they seem well made. We took a 10 hour drive with a hard shell cargo carrier attached to the rails and it sufficiently did the job it was supposed to do. I had some issues with the instructions as they were a little overly simplified. Had a few trial and error mistakes that could have been easily avoided with better instructions. My trial and error during installation revealed the following: 1) It wasn't clearly labeled that the end pieces for each end of the cross bar have different slot/hole configurations. One side has a slot fitting and the other side has a two hole fit. One side will only line up with the pre-drilled holes in the metal rail if you use the correct side. 2) The washers should be used early on to help connect the end piece connectors to the rails. I didn't see it explained in the early directions thinking they would be used later on. 3) Lastly, you have to make sure you screw in the metal backer prior to sliding the rails in the position or else you won't be able to secure the rails in place and they will slide. I'm sure there are some people out there that would be able to install this without instructions in 20 minutes. To me it just wasn't that intuitive and it took me about 45-60 minutes to install and I really think I could have done it in 30-40 minutes with good instructions. In the end I don't think the poor instructions should be a deal breaker. Just be aware and hopefully some of the pictures I'm posting with the review will help if you have trouble. I would probably give it 5 stars with an easier installation process. ... show more

  • Not a good fit to 2021 Honda Pilot
Configuration: 2016-2022
The order arrived timely and the materials quality are good. However, for our 2021 Honda Pilot, the hole alignment / fit of the L cross bar foot to the roof rails hole was not good (the R foot fit was fine, see pics). In addition, in the max extension position, the length of the cross bars / foot assembly was shorter by ~1/2 in than the width between roof rails. Returning this and giving another brand a try. ... show more

  • Good product
Configuration: 2016-2022
2019 honda pilot elite. This roof rack will work but it's not a good fit. Too long in the front and too short on the rear. I used nylon washers in the rear to get a good fit. The long bolt that hold the cross members down were too long. I had to cut 3/4 of an inch off to get the bolt to tighten up. If your handy and have some skill you can get it to work. ... show more

  • Satisfied
Fit 2015 Honda Pilot. Have the OEM look to them and seems like they will hold up pretty well. Instructions could be a little bit more clear. Few tips: -You'll have to check the end brackets, adjustable slotted end will only fit 1 end. Non-adjustable will fit the other end. -Put in washers on the screws to the brackets first, washers come in separate bag while screws came in attached to the piece. -When sliding in the bars after assembling the end pieces, make sure to put in the adjustable knob and silver backing piece in before you slide in the crossbars, make sure the knobs don't spin out or you'll have fun retrieving the silver backing piece or having to take it off. -The silver piece sits in a slot on the end brackets and adjustable knobs should be started in them to keep them in place. ... show more

  • Directions are lacking. Quality is OK.
The company should revisit the directions; images are blurry and missing information like what the thumb screws are supposed to screw into. Had to pull off bars after getting them in the right spot to add a missing part the directions never mentioned. Cross bars are also not in the same shape. One has a solid curve on both sides, the other is straight and then curves. We’ll see how these do over time. ... show more
