  • Perfect fit for 2010-2015 RX 350
Style: Only Fit Raised Rails
Easy to install and looks like it was made for the car. For the price you can’t go wrong, I was expecting a lot of extra wind noise from the roof rack but it actually wasn’t too bad. There’s definitely extra noise from the roof but nothing major. We were able to strap a few things down and it has held solid every time we used it. ... show more

  • Solid, whistling is easy to prevent.
Style: Only Fit Raised Rails
Mounted these on a 2016 4runner. Easy to install, and solid. They do whistle a bit, but buy 4 foot bungee cords. Wrap them around the bar a few times and it'll disrupt the wind and stop the whistling. Only negative is the lock only moves a piece of plastic blocking the hex bolt to tighten it. I thought the key would release it so i could take it on and off easier. The non-key side has exposed hex bolt, so not sure how much safety the key adds. ... show more

  • Good cross bars for a reasonable price
Style: Only Fit Raised Rails
These cross bars fit perfectly on my 2021 GLE 350. I was hesitant to spend less than $100 on the cross bars since you pay for what you get. I was pleasantly surprised that these cross bars fit my needs completely. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on them since I only wanted to transport an aluminum ladder. There are so many cross bars for sale on Amazon from about $60 to hundreds of dollars for name-brand products. I really don't know why some of the name-brand cross bars can be so expensive unless they are coated with gold. The Yitamotor cross bars are solid and strong when installed. I didn't have any concern that the cross bars or ladder would come loose during transport. Use caution and care when installing so the head of the hex bolts is not stripped during installation or removal. There was some whistling/wind noise during high speeds but nothing that was irritating. However, my vehicle cabin may be quieter than most since I did see reviewers complain about the noise. I think wind noise is inevitable when you put something on your roof that affects the aerodynamics. I am pleased with this product. It is cost-effective and does the job that I bought it for. ... show more

  • Great bars for a factory alternative
Style: Only Fit Raised Rails
We needed cross bars in a hurry and these were the ones we chose due to fast shipping options and good reviews. We mounted them to our 2016 Toyota 4Runner and they hug the factory roof rack bars like a champ. This particular 4Runner has stickers on top of the roof rack that shows you were you should place cross bars. We used those markers and they were spot on. As shown in the picture we used these bars to support a Thule cargo box. The position of the box is somewhat dependent on the placement of the cross bars. All in all, everything feels very secure and installation was a breeze. Recommend using a ruler on each side to ensure everything is aligned. There is a significant amount of wind noise coming from the cross bars even when the cargo box is not mounted. Gas mileage was lower than usual with these bars and the box mounted but that was to be expected. I believe the numbers were only about 3-4 mpg lower than usual so not a major difference. We were also crossing the Appalachian mountains so that didn't help the mpg numbers either. If you need cross bars because your vehicle didn't come with them or you don't want to fork out the money for factory bars this will suit your needs. The only consideration is that some factory bars may yield better gas mileage because they sit lower and more inline with the roof rack bars. However, the extra height of these bars worked well for us because our cargo box needed to clear our GPS antenna. Highly recommend these bars so far and we've driven over 3K miles with them on there. I'll remove them once we get settled in our new house so if there are any issues at that time I'll update this post. ... show more

  • Did not preform as expected.
Style: Only Fit Raised Rails
I bought these prior to an eight-hour trip in which I planned on using a rooftop box. I did the research, measured my roof racks, and ensured I was buying the right size for my vehicle. All evidence pointed to the fact these would fit. When they arrived I was excited as they appeared to be sturdy and had a nice aerodynamic look. However, that is where my excitement stipped. When I attempted to place them on my vehicle- they didn't fit correctly. On these crossbars, there are four "feet" that a tightened by an Allen wrench which fits into a small hole on the side and pulls the feet together to secure the crossbars to the roof rack. There is also four plastic end caps that appear to be used to hold the feet from sliding out of the bar. I found out quickly that without these plastic end caps the feet will slide out of the bars and render the device useless. I worked with the bars for about thirty minutes and was never really able to secure the end caps and thus, despite trying to tighten the Allen key was not able to properly secure the device to the vehicle. Considering that I was leaving for our trip the next day I did have any other options so I secured it the best I could and placed the rooftop box on the vehicle and we proceeded. When we stopped the first time into the trip I noticed we lost the two end caps on the passenger side and the whole rack had moved about three inches. I did my best to push the bars back into place and retighten. I noted the same movement when we arrived at the destination and several more times along the trip back. These crossbars need a major redesign and retooling. I could only imagine what would've happened if they became dislodged at highway speed with 150 pounds of belongings on top of them. I had no choice but to use them due to timing, but hopefully, this will help you before you get halfway into your trip and find your luggage is five-mile behind you. ... show more

  • Great rack for the price
Style: Only Fit Raised Rails
I bought this rack to take my kayak to my summer job in northern Wyoming. Love how sturdy the product is once its installed. I have a 2011 ford escape and the rack works perfectly for me. It took a bit of time to install as the racks hang over the edge of the car and I had to constantly readjust the allen wrench during installation but once it was on it didn't budge. Some noise during travel at high speeds, but I just turn up the tunes to drown it out. Highly recommend! ... show more
