It seemed a bit cheaply made when I took it out of the box, but overall it's a very cool lamp and I absolutely love it in my space! It's perfect for a little mood lighting, more on the bright white side of color as well. You have to be careful with the strings when turning it on, if the ball jiggles too much the light flickers. I am also having a hard time finding a power block for it that doesn't get really hot when in use. All things considered, this is a great desktop lamp for work! Magnetic balls for the switch is a cool concept. Only drawback - Wish the strings holding the magnets were not the obnoxious red.

I was looking for a slightly unusual lamp for a teenager's desk and this is just what I needed. It's really fun to use and looks great when it's on and when it's off. Good lighting for that extra "glow". Not sure it's enough for the only lighting on a desk, but fabulous for adding a touch of class.

I loved these as did guests, however the two I bought both had the strings for the magnets break. They lasted about 3 weeks only. This is inherent in the design and all will break unless they update to a different string material. The lights were great until the strings broke and you cannot repair this. ... show more
