At 60 chopping wood is a drag - and painful. I need to split wood into slender pieces to fit my wood burning stove for kindling and burning, and with this splitter I can split what I need for several days in 15 to 20 minutes - an hour I’m set for a week. I put it on a table for the season for easy access and cover it with plastic between use. My wrist, arm, shoulder, and attitude greatly appreciate this machine! It’s quiet enough to not bother (or attract neighbors who might want their wood split up too), all I have to do is plug it in - no messing with fuel or choke or carb or crap 🙄. This yardmax log splitter is a beast! I am 69 years old. This bad boy made my project so much easier. I split 2+ face cords of ash (very tough hardwood) in two mornings. Very large diameter logs. My only regret is that I didn't have this wonderful tool years ago.
