  • Having Never Purchased Fencing Before- I'm Very Impressed
Size: 2 Inch Mesh 60 Inch X 150 Foot 20 Gauge
Wow- just wow. This stuff is... exactly what I was hoping for. For the price (about $50.00 a roll when I purchased it), it's unbelievable. Free shipping to Alaska. About 6 feet tall. 150 feet wide. I really cannot express how affordable this was! I used this fencing to build an outdoor dog run for my pups. They are two HUGE malamute mixes. Hyper, strong, and unable to be contained. What I basically did was took this fencing, and unrolled it around a 'meadow' area in our backyard. Around the meadow are a bunch of very thick alder trees. So I wove the fencing in and out of the trees- essentially using the trees as stakes. For one square acre, I only used 2 full rolls of fencing- although I had bought three. Unraveling the fencing was a bit of a challenge. The fencing is held together by wire that intertwines in and out of the fencing. You have to go through and pull out about 20 feet of wire prior to starting. It's about a 15 minute process, but it did keep the fencing in good shape. The fencing was about 40 pounds, the full roll. It was a bit hard for me (a 140 pound female) to tug through a thick timber of trees. It occasionally got caught on branches. It held really tightly to it's rolled shape, so I really had to pull to get it to unravel. Once the fencing was finished unraveling, I went around and secured it to the trees with zip-ties. I then took cut branches along the ground and zip-tied them to the bottom of the fencing. This prevented open spots along the bottom where my dogs could easily slip through. The fencing is quite thin, but I was amazed how- once it was attached to all of the trees- it was very VERY strong. I could climb up and down it without it breaking apart. It's also withstood our spring rains with ease. Stainless steel and definitely not rusting. It looks as good as new three months into our tough Alaskan summers. The fence-holes are a bit wide for chickens- as small predators like weasels could get through. I wouldn't recommend them for rabbit hutches or for anything smaller than larger live-stock. Unless you live in a place with minimal predators, I wouldn't suggest them for chickens either. On the other hand this fencing is great for things like goats, horses, cows, and pigs. At 6 feet tall it doesn't stand a chance of getting jumped over. It bends a bit and has some flexibility to it, but it won't break no matter how hard I or my dogs push against it. For the purpose of an outdoor dog fence it's working fantastically. I really couldn't be more surprised. I wasn't expecting it to hold up half was well as it has. For the price, durability, nice clean metal appearance, and ease of setting up- it's worth 5 stars in my book. Like I said- probably not the best choice for chickens. I'd definitely recommend something a bit thicker. But great for my purpose as dog fencing for BIG and STRONG sled-dogs! ... show more

  • good fencing flimsy stability
Size: 2 Inch Mesh 36 Inch X 150 Foot 20 Gauge
the fencing is great and exactly what I wanted but I am a little disappointed by the stability of the fencing as it only has one support line going through meaning it us much more unstable and flimsy needing to be stretched tight to remain flush but overall good fencing and exactly what is described on the package ... show more

  • YARDGARD Poultry Netting: My Garden's Guardian Angel
Size: 2 Inch Mesh 48 Inches X 50 Foot 20 Gauge
My vegetable garden used to be a battlefield – a constant fight against hungry rabbits, curious squirrels, and even the occasional feathered freeloader. Then, I discovered the YARDGARD Poultry Netting, and my gardening life transformed from a frantic warzone to a peaceful paradise. Fortress of Fence: This netting is no flimsy joke. Made of strong, galvanized steel, it's lightweight yet incredibly sturdy. The hexagonal weave creates a secure barrier that keeps even the most determined critters at bay. The rabbits used to be Olympic hurdlers, but now they take one look at the fence and politely turn back. Rust-Proof Rescuer: Unlike other netting that surrenders to rust after a single season, YARDGARD's galvanized coating stands strong against the elements. Rain, sun, and even snow haven't tarnished its shine. It's a durable defender built to last outdoors. Easy to Deploy: Unlike some netting that requires a degree in engineering, YARDGARD unrolls and installs like a dream. It's flexible enough to conform to any shape garden bed. I had my entire perimeter fortified in no time, leaving me with more time to enjoy my flourishing veggies and less time chasing squirrels. Overall Verdict: The YARDGARD Poultry Netting is a game-changer for any gardener. It's strong, durable, versatile, and easy to use. It's given me peace of mind and allowed my garden to thrive. If you're tired of sharing your harvest with unwanted guests, this is the solution you've been waiting for. Happy (and secure) gardening! ... show more

  • Light-weight chicken wire at a competitive price.
Size: 2 Inch Mesh 48 Inches X 50 Foot 20 Gauge
I actually bought this for horizontal overhead support for the plastic sheeting that I drape over my raised beds on frames made of 1" PVC piping. I have an arch over each bed every 3-1/2 feet with one longitudinal pipe shared by all the arches. The width of the spacing gives good working room, but rain would puddle and make the plastic sag and it was a pain to get the water off. I draped the chicken wire across the frame and fastened it to each arch with cable ties to make a supporting layer that wouldn't block light. The plastic sheeting seems well supported and it looks like it'll drain off very efficiently with no pooling. The chicken wire netting is well made, 20 gauge, average thickness not heavy-duty. Arrived quickly and well packaged. ... show more
