  • Works great!
Color: Oil Rubbed Bronze Size: Key-Free Touchscreen
We purchased a used lock in very good condition and it works great! We had already installed 3 other Yale locks similar to this one before so my husband didn't have any trouble but the instructions are fairly clear for someone who has never installed one before. It's easy to use the app to set up the lock too. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good product
Color: Satin Nickel Size: Key-Free Push Button
I love that I can have a wireless connection to lock and unlock my door and. Use the keypad as entry if I don't have my phone by me or let caregivers lock the door. It's just a bit different then my other one for my front door with a white. Wifi piece that needs to be close to the door to let it be used . I had to make it fit in my door and was missing a screw to make it work . ... show more

  • Works Great! Connects to HomeKit
Color: Black Suede Size: Key-Free Push Button
We got the Bluetooth model only so it does not connect to wifi. We would only get notifications and be able to lock/unlock if within Bluetooth distance of the lock. But we did set it up with our HomePod for HomeKit connection and then we were able to get notifications even when out of the house! We love that you can have other people have a code too and app access! We set it up so that our families have a code and you can restrict what times the code works! ... show more

  • Great lock, but they sent me a used one which CAN'T work
Color: Satin Nickel Size: Keyed
I've installed this lock before, and been vey happy with it. 5 stars for the lock itself. BUT this time they sent me a used one, I guess a customer return. I installed the lock and all seemed fine. The lock requires the associated app, and when I tried to add this lock to the app, it told me that another customer had already registered it, and therefore I couldn't use it unless they first de-registered it. Of course, I have no idea who the previous owner is, and anyway THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE SENT ME A USED LOCK WHEN I PAID FOR A NEW ONE! Although I just ordered off the Amazon site, the order details say it was sold to me by "brian cardonick". Shame on you, Cardonick / Amazon! ... show more

  • Great lock, easy to install, needs battery level indicator.
Color: Satin Nickel Size: Keyed
Great lock, easy to install. We have two of these at our home and love not having to use keys or even use the pad with the smart lock/unlock feature. The one major downside to the Yale locks I've used over the years is the lack of battery level indicator within the mobile app. I just can't wrap my head around why this is not a feature. Our battery-powered Ring cameras have this feature, so I can't imagine why Yale can't seem to integrate this crucial quality of life feature into their products. That being said, *most of the time* you will get an audible or visual alert (blink) on the lock itself to let you know the batteries are low, but even then, it could be one lock/unlock cycle, a day, or days before you need to change the battery. On one instance, our front door lock never made any indication the batteries were low and we ended up locked out, though we do have a backup key. TL;DR: Great locks but the battery life/indicator needs work. ... show more

  • Nice lock
Color: Black Suede Size: Key-Free Touchscreen
I replaced a connected lock from another well known brand that I had constant issues with this lock and it has been great. Battery life has been good and it’s easy to program with the app.

  • Great features
Color: Satin Nickel Size: Key-Free Push Button
I switched to this from the August lock - which I love that I didn't have to make a new account. It specifically asked if I was already an August member and if I wanted to use that login. This is MUCH better than the August.

  • Works with fresh batteries. Drains them quick. Not recommended.
Color: Satin Nickel Size: Key-Free Push Button
I've had this lock with the WiFi module for 11 months now. While I like the connected ability of this, it drains batteries way too quick. I'm getting about 2.5 months with fresh Energizer Lithium batteries. These batteries are too expensive to continuously replace. Just not worth the value. I'm going to try rechargeables first to see how long they last before I go back to the old lock. Also the door sense needs to be reprogrammed every time the batteries go weak. I'm getting a blue flashing light, the light that tells me the batteries need replaced, and the app knows the door is locked, but thinks the door is open. I checked the history, and seems it lost its sensing ability 2 days ago. The same thing happened the last time the batteries went bad. I had to run through it's configuration setup again. There needs to be a kit that allows this to run off of a wall outlet. I wouldn't mind running a small conduit line from the lock, across the door, a coiled cable to span the hinge, and then running the cable along the wall to the outlet. 4 total battery replacements in a year with $20 batteries, this will end up being the most expensive door lock ever. Can't recommend. ... show more
