Just moved into a swanky new place and wanted to upgrade some furniture for a reasonable price. I found this set and was skeptical due to the price point. The color was perfect, the design fit the aesthetic I was going for and they looked pretty comfortable. Reviews seemed to be all over the place. Easy to put together, hard to put together, cheaply made, very sturdy. So I crossed my fingers and took a chance and I'm so glad I did! Firstly, these are incredibly easy to put together. 5 minutes per stool, seriously. Secondly, reviews mentioned a cheap plastic base, I did not find the bases to be cheap or flimsy. They may have been plastic (don't think so, but don't recall at the moment) but the are cerainly pretty thck so I have little concern over them breaking. They are very soft "leather" and they are quite comfy to boot. These turned out to exceed my highest hopes and I'm so glad I took the chance! ... show more

These were super easy to assemble and look great. However, they are not made for tall people or heavier people. The seat just won’t be comfortable for your bottom if you have a larger frame. Other than that they’re perfect.
