I ordered these chairs because they are modern, easy to wipe down, cushioned, adjustable height, have arms and a foot rest. I was able to assemble by myself in 20 minutes. Each chair only has 8 screws (4 for arms and 4 for base). They supplied 2 Allen wrenches. The instructions were 5-6 easy steps. The chairs were packed carefully with alot of packing protection. I did not have any defects on either of the chairs. Also, the hydrologic lift worked perfectly. My only issue is very minor where the back of the chair is not as ergonomic as I would have liked, but the cushioning is very comfortable. I am 5'4" and have the chair on the lowest height, which my feet still don't touch the ground, but the foot rest works perfectly. So I am sure that the highest height would be good for a tall person. The chair is sturdy on the lowest height but it is a little wobbly at the highest height. Overall, it is a very good value for the quality. ... show more

I bought four of these looking for something quick and cheap for an apartment. These stools are not furniture you're going to keep for decades. They get the job done, look nice, wide seat is comfortable for an hour or two eating or hanging out. Very stable and big enough to hold up most people. I'm 250lbs and fit comfortably in these stools. Not sure how big you have to be to claim these seats are small. If you're pushing 400 lbs you're going to need some expensive one-piece stools. That's asking too much of a product like this. On the down side, because the arms don't actually attach in the back they fold easy. I've tried to push myself up on the arms, as my guests as well, and they just fold all the way down. They can't hold any weight. That's ok if you know that, but each new guest will sometime push the arms down and I have to bend them back up. Also after some time in the chair you get the sensation that it's leaning forward but not noticeable as you first sit down. Maybe sagging over time with a lot of weight in the chair? Overall, they're OK, I'd buy them again for the same purpose but if I was buying for my home long term I'd go with something more expensive. ... show more
