It looks pretty nice but you can tell it's cheap. The back padding fills like it's made of shredded plastic grocery bags. It is comfortable to sit in and pretty firm, not plush. Recliner function works great. It can be wobbly, there's really no support brace and i'm afraid if i lean to the side alot it would separate and break. This can be fixed though by cutting a 1x2, drill some pocket holes, and screw it on the bottom, connecting the sides as the only thing connecting the sides is 1 board in the back and the seat.

The media could not be loaded. The recliner serves as a very nice accent piece. It’s very sturdy and it’s super easy to assemble. Personally I had a couple problems while sitting in it. I am kind of tall and the leg rest is VERY short. Also, it takes a lot of core strength to get the chair to recline, and then you have to keep your core tense to keep the chair reclined. It kind of contradicts itself. You want to relax but end up having an abs and flutes day. The trick is to scoot your butt back as far as possible for maximum leverage when leaning back. In the video I posted, I demonstrate the force at which it propels you forward when you untense your abs via hair movement. Other than that it’s pretty comfy. Also, despite it being a faux suede, it doesn’t retain any scratch marks and I have a cat so there’s that.

Had to replace my old recliner as it was just beat to a pulp. The poor thing had definitely seen better days. Found this one and gave it a go. The price was great, even with the shipping. It came in 2 days just as it said it would. Yes, it is a bit cumbersome to move the box if you are of smaller stature or are relatively strong. I am all of 5'4" and have an injured shoulder. I was able to maneuver it in the door and up the stairs by myself. Took all of 8 minutes start to finish and that includes getting it out of the box. The instructions were as expected - just pictures but it's not rocket science. You do have to give the back a good push until it clicks into position. The cushioning is awesome. Firmer than my last chair by far. The fabric is nice and soft. It's a taller seat, so it's perfect for those who have trouble getting up and down. It's lightweight and slides easily if you need to move it. Does not take much force to push back for it to recline and you can go back just enough to have your feet a little elevated. It does take a bit to push it closed though. My only complaint is from my dog - he does not have enough room on this chair to lay next to me. He has to settle for my lap.

The chair itself is pretty good for the money. Fairly sturdy and comfortable to sit in. The problem is with the reclining feature which is VERY poorly designed. Extremely difficult to get it to recline at all and you have to literally drape yourself over the back of the chair to hold it in the reclined position.

These where going in my living room returned the day after receiving them so very uncomfortable! It has been a month since then am still trying to get my money returned the call center in the Philippines has no power! So tomorrow I will attempt to get help from customer service in Seattle they where the best at handling problems! The customer service overseas has been very polite but has not been able to handle it! The company who sold the chairs is polite ,but they string you along! I am very disappointed in all aspects of this sale & return!!!!

I bought one of these for my office and liked it so much I bought this one for my home. I have a small apartment and this fits great in my livingroom. Putting it together was a simple process of screwing in the legs and sliding the back on. It's very comfortable for watching tv, reading, and even napping. I'm 5'5", and the foot rest is perfect for me. I'm also a larger bodied person but find this chair to be supportive and comfortable. I've had a couple of tall people sit in it and they don't find it as comfortable.

I love the color, size, and reclining aspect. It is a cute chair but lacks quality because it’s only $85. It’s not a big bulky recliner, but it doesn’t feel sturdy and isn’t for anyone over 6 feet. The chair was damaged (dent and watermark) unfortunately and I don’t know what I’m in for next…UPDATE: After posting a review and contacting the seller, I was provided a full refund. I am changing my star rating to 4 stars for their fast and quality customer service!
