Overall Id be very pleased with this goal and it would have gotten 4 or 5 stars. Easy to assemble, decent quality, etc. But once I began to fill the base with water I realized there was a pretty significant leak along the seam that joins the top of the base to the bottom. Very disappointed but considering this was the 2nd goal I assembled in the past 3 months, last one thrown away for the same reason (base sprung a leak), I decided to just pour the water out and fill the thing with sand. Problem solved. Not worth sending back and assembling another one, but for future buyers, be prepared for possible defects. ... show more

We ordered this for our 9 year old for his birthday to see if he liked basketball enough to buy and set up a regulation hoop. We knew it wasn't going to be a fancy full sized or super sturdy item by the price and size description, but we thought it would serve its purpose. When the first box arrived it was missing pieces so we could not assemble it. This was very quickly addressed and a new one was sent. The second one had all of the parts and so we put it together. After less then 20 mins of playing HORSE the ball bounced off the backboard and the whole backboard and top detached at the welding points and fell down. Thankfully my 6'1 husband was standing at the goal and caught it, stopping it from breaking off entirely and landing on anyone. The pictures show where the welds failed. It seemed flimsy when putting it together but again for the price we were not expecting a heavy duty goal, but a safe and well put together piece of equipment should not be beyond the realm of possibilities. ... show more

Let me start by saying after I took these photos I realized I had the base backwards. It has since been turned around. I bought this for my daughter's 13th birthday and it was an absolute hit. She loves it. Assembly was a little rough as there's no words in the instructions only pictures but I was able to assemble it within an hour with a second person helping. It even came with an extra net. If I were to need to get another hoop I'd definitely get this one again ... show more

We gave this to our grandkids and they carried it home packaged up. Easily assembled and heavy enough for 3 little boys to play basketball. They are ages 5, 8, 10. No complaints.

I got this thing for my son Christmas 2022 so it's been only 9 months. The backboard faded black in maybe 5 months while the net fell apart from the sun as well. Luckily it came with a 2nd net (pictured here) it also has fallen apart and turned to dust due to the sun. I'll have to source a better quality next time. Update: 15 months in and the backboard fell apart. Bought a heavy duty net to replace the two that came with it as they both fell apart in 5 months each.
