Cute but dips forward

I like this little guy. My only complaint is that he leans forward just a bit. It's not enough of an issue to return it or give it a lower review though. I like that it is tall and easy to grab out of the water to refill.

Dave the octopus

We needed a new pool chlorine tablet holder. This fits the bill and the kids named it Dave, from Penguins of Madagascar. Over time, the top float does soak up water, but you can manually squirt it out and it is good as new. Holds up to 4 thick tablets at full capacity. We usually kept 2 or 3 in it. Lasted all summer in over 100 degree heat with no shade. Worth the buy.

Good buy for the most part

I like the little guy. He’s faded quite a bit in the couple months I love had him. Also he tends to collect water in his body and sink so you have to spend time squeezing the water out of him. All in all not a bad purchase though.

Octavius Julius Hankard the 8th.

We love him, obviously. He has the most amazing backstory. But we'll save that for another day. Once swimming season is over, Octavius plans on getting his law license. So at least he'll have something to do this winter. We'd buy his ornery butt again 100% He does his job well and holds enough chlorine to keep us safe. He's bigger than I thought. Which was a good thing. He is durable and way too fun to have floating around.

Water can enter
Color: Octopus
There is a small hold in one of the ears, that allows water in. Very thick plastic so it makes it difficult to get the water out. Water in the character can create mold. Same concept as a rubber ducky bath toy. They all mold eventually. Also, the octopus would not float straight up and down. He would tilt slightly. Not sure if that was because of the water in the plastic top, because I kept chlorine tabs in the bottom area. Hank is quite possibly the cutest octopus ever, but we couldn't keep him due to these factors.

Cute

It is super cute, however when you put the chlorine tabs in it, the thing barely floats. The color faded within a couple of weeks.
